I stayed with my family in Sapphire Villa, Nai Harn, in January 2012 for 9 nights. The Villa is about 15-20 minutes walk from the Nai Harn shops so scooters, hire cars or taxis are necessary. However, this means that there is not the usual hustle and bustle (ie. noise) of Thailand and the scenery is stunning- beautiful jungle/forest and mountains. You will definitely get a good night sleep here!
The decor of the villa is beautiful and well maintained. There are plenty of books, boardgames and DVD's. The entertainment area outside is perfectly set up for outdoor dining and the pool is immaculate. We all thoroughly enjoyed the pool which has views of banana trees, coconut trees and mountains with no neighbours overlooking!
The highlight of our trip was our wonderful cook Ta. She prepared fantastic omelettes and pancakes for breakfast and the dinners were always something to look forward to. I particularly loved her satay chicken, tom yum, chicken cashew nut and pork omelette. She also does amazing southern cooking for those who enjoy more spicy food!
We also enjoyed day trips to James Bond Island, Big Buddha, Phuket weekend market and the local beaches.
The owners of the villa were always were responsive to my questions and everything was well organised.
Thank you for a wonderful and relaxing holiday!
