Friendly !

I booked this room through a booking agent for the low price and location. I arrived one day early and they were able to accommodate me at a very good rate. The staff there was the warmest and friendliest that I've ever experienced in Pattaya. The swimming pool and restaurant were more than adequate. It's located less than 100 meters from the beach road. I would definitely stay there again.

Pleasant surprise in Pattaya

...on my stay at BJ's. Upon arrival, I was greeted by friendly security guard (he even speaks some German). The super clean room has every amenity, A/C, fridge, lock box, closet with hangers, nice bathroom, TV, roomy balcony etc. Hotel is very clean, friendly and airy. Staff is exceptionally friendly. Room service is available on request. Wake up call was delivered timely. Pictures in the lobby tell story of Pattaya before the "boom". Nice touch. Thank you for the pool facing room. Much appreciated. Will stay here again. Only regret, why didn't I find this place sooner???

Room tip: As of April 2012, there was daytime construction at a neighboring building behind BJ's. Otherwise, hotel is not unreasonably noisy. #308 is a good room choice.

A good choice

I have just spent 3 nights at BJ, not my first visit. The hotel is at the quieter end of Beach Road, and only 50 meters from the beach. There is something for everyone within a short walk, restaurants, bars, beach, and entertainment. The hotel serves good food, has great staff, and is good value for money (1200 baht). I think nearly all rooms have a balcony overlooking the pool. They are clean and comfortable, with multi-channel TV, air-con, in-room security box, en-suite, etc.. The hotel is suitable for couples, families, and solo travellers. Highly recommended....only one word of caution...there is construction work taking place on an adjoining site (not visible from the room or pool, and there is no dirt or dust). It can be a little noisy from 8am to 5pm, but it did not bother me at all. As an experienced traveller, I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Room tip: Just make sure you have a balcony/pool view.

Just the job

Fith time of staying at this hotel and everytime is just that bit better than the last.Smiling staff excellent security, Good food and cleaniness in all aspects would recommend anyone toi stay there.Little bit of building work at ther moment out the back but it caused no problem
