Have been to Sabai Lodge for just one night, visiting a friend.
The lodge has a nice but simple setup, ideal for families with kids.
The location is good - between beach road and shops (2nd road).

But:
- The rooms are more than simple, worn-out and old.
- There is no internet in the rooms available.
- Booked a room with "pool view". A joke. The pool is outside the room, so you have to go out of your room the see the pool.

This hotel is more or less visited by Russian families meanwhile.
If you are not Russian - think about it!!

Room Tip: Poolview is NO poolview. The pool is outside your room door. Poolview is loud. Russian's occupi...

I've stayed at sabai lodge twice now & going back there again for the third time this month. The hotel & location have everything you need. The hotel has a very large pool & excellent pool bar. All staff from reception to the waiting staff are very friendly & helpful. Rooms are extremely clean & spotless.

The food at the restaurant is quiet decent & has a variety of choices if Thai food doesn't suit your taste buds. Range of drinks & cocktails are very good too.

The location is perfect, when you come out the hotel turn right & walk about 100 yards & your on beach road & the beach itself. All restaurants, bars , shops, massages etc are within walking distance especially the vibrant nightlife of Pattaya, however if you want to go to walking street you might want to get one of those open air taxis which is I think 50baht or less per person or if you want to soak up the atmosphere at night , it's about a 20minute walk.

Highly recommended to solo or group travellers!

We stayed for one week in march, and we were pretty pleased with our choice. Located close to beach with nice pool. Staff could be more attentive, but mostly we got decent service. Rooms have met duedate for some upgrades, but the sheets was clean, a\c worked and we slept all through the night. Breakfast was ok. For the price they charge, one does get good value for money. We would stay here again.

sabai lodge its really a pleasent hotel nice swimming pool . situated on soi 2 I think its to far out of the way to all action and good bars find ourselves using tuk tuks quite a lot if you want to be near walking street then really this hotel is too far away walking distance to the entertainment however the hotel it self was nice and the breakfast offered plenty of choice I wouldn't recommend this hotel to single friends but I would to any couples as it seems to be slightly away from the sleaze how ever this is a guest friendly hotel so overall I enjoyed my stay

Staff were always friendly and the pools good. Location good. Rooms were clean. TVs need to be updated. Was a bit unimpressed when hit with a B100 bill as I'd had a small motor cycle incident and grazed an elbow and was told I had to pay a special cleaning bill because I got some blood on the sheets.
I would happily recommend but I was annoyed with the extra charge and not sure if I would now stay there again.

My boyfriend and I are spending one month in thailand ... We spent one week in Pattaya at the Sabia lodge. We thought the location is good ... just a few minutes from the Big C shopping center. It is situated in an area that is very easy to walk or to find transport.
The rooms are big and clean. They come with safety box and free wifi. The wifi was usually pretty good. The breakfast was included in our package and was OK. We never ate meals at the hotel as there are many many other restaurant options close by

Good value for the price

Elvis, by the pool every day, on repeat, staff unable or unwilling to change the CD, unable to drown out the music via alcohol due to the cost of a beer there. Noise pollution from other construction.

Food - I suppose it does, by a strict definition of the word food, classify itself as that, is ok. But you battle to get it to your table without the many cockroaches you see scuttling around the food service areas.

The view from the "deluxe poolside" room is of the back of the hotel, in order to get a view of the pool, you open the front door and walk out onto the corridor connecting the rooms.

My favourite part was the electro-shock therapy that's offered free, and unasked for by the hotel, when you touch a lamp and get a shock that knocks you off your feet, followed by the sensory depravation when you ask to see the hotel management to discuss the matter, and they refuse to do so. In fairness I was given an upgrade to one of the best rooms in the hotel, but what I wanted was a face to face apology.

Room Tip: Try a different hotel, if you must stay here, make sure you are aware of where the construction is g...
