“Beautiful garden”
Reviewed November 16, 2012

I was very pleased with my visit.. The gardens are large and there are some spectacular views because of the elevated walkway. The culture show was first rate. The elephant show was better than the one I saw in Chiang Mai. Don't miss this attraction.

“Flora abundance”
Reviewed November 16, 2012

Nong Nooch has won two Gold medals at the Chelsea Flower show, and for those that don't know, this is the ultimate accolade for excellence. Our friends got married here in a beautiful Thai house, the bridegroom arriving on an elephant. Sadly they have pulled it down, erecting a monstrosity of clay pots in its place.
Take a trip around the gardens on a bus, that could do with better explanations from the guides and then go up Butterfly hill and take the walkways out through the trees to various parts of the gardens. They have recently built a lot more accomodation for overnight stays that quite frankly are not in keeping with the rest of the scenario. Same goes for all those giant metal ants everywhere. On the plus side is the Thai Show and the Elephant show. Worth a visit but shut your eyes to the incongruous bits.

“visit for the plants, not the animals”
Reviewed November 14, 2012

The botanical gardens are amazing, but I felt very sorry for the elephants, tigers (especially the tigers), monkeys and other animals.

Very good and beautiful scenery. Elephant show and culture show are worth seeing. The restaurant offering lunch buffet provided excellent Thai food. Guiding driver of the shuttle is very friendly.

“Worthwhile tourist attraction”
Reviewed November 14, 2012

“Noong Nooch Gardens” is an attraction with different-themed beautifully sculpted gardens, statuary, a Thai cultural show, and great elephant circus. It is huge, the visitors ride electric trams or can rent an elephant ride. In addition to the elephant show there are tigers, monkeys, gibbons and other animals available to pose with for a small fee. T-shirts painted by elephants are available along with other souvenirs. There are several dining facilities ranging from fast food to more casual dining.
Unless one has a vehicle to get to the park one should purchase the many packages sold that include bus transportation to and from the show. It is a long 3 Km uphill walk on the road in the tropical heat from the vehicle entrance to the park grounds proper.
