There is construction work taking place at the front as reconstruction takes place and it is said shops will be built. When you enter the main hall it is large and spacious. There is a hotel office to your left and another one straight ahead; Yes there are two hotels which take up the first ten floors.and possibly part of floor 11.
Groups of Indians are using both hotels. There is about 25 in each group..
There has been complaints from other residents about noise late at night.
On 21st August the two groups coincided and there were 50 indians in the swimming pool at one time.
There has also been considerable problems with the Indians not showering before entering the pool and not wearing the correct normal swimming wear.

If you want to stay at the markland give the hotels a miss and speak to the Condo office
where you maybe able to hire a condo privately on a higher floor/
The location of the building is excellent and views are great from the balcony.

Room tip: Stay away from the two hotels as they are catering for large groups of indians who are moisy . They are mainly yoing men who are just having a good time. There is a Condo office on ground floor who may be able to put you in contact with individuals who will rent you a private owned room.

hi this was my first stay in Markland Spa. Rooms are really BIGG, all balconies sea facing, great views if you get higher floor rooms, average Breakfast in a very nice rooftop restaurant. However Hotel's little rundown, Old TV sets, chipped Furniture. Main Doors are Thin & hence feel a little insecured. Overall OK Budget Hotel if you want to be on the beach & the Quieter Side of Pattaya.

A classy budget hotel bank on the beach and close to walking street, offering excellent value for money stay.
Very near to heart of the city and yet peaceful and far from the hustle and bustle offering ample peace and relaxation

Room tip: Stayed on the 7th floor and would know little about the other floors, but found rooms to be really good and conducive to a comfortable family stay.

We stayed here in April 2011.We found the hotel occupancy very low.It appeared we are alone in the entire hotel.Toilets were in pathetic condition. There were not much choice in food.Except the location this hotel has nothing to offer.I would not like to stay here again.

Room tip: Do not stay in this Hotel if you want to enjoy your holiday.

Located right across the road from the beach. Great views from the roof top. Free breakfast was good and plentiful. Free wi-fi. Value for your money is good!
