booked 8 days here via [---] super efficient website. unfortunately super efficient only in getting my 19520 baht from visa as hotel said that they had never heard of [---] or mono travel company limited (the company actually owning the website) and demanded immediate payment of 3213 baht for night "we will never refund". mai dee mai?. just what you want with your wife besides you after travelling 24 hours and taxi gone. hotel has fantastic view straight over clean beach but dirty water to ko larn. from the 33rd floor you might even be able to see over the island. reception area huge and rooms big, both getting tatty. breakfast is typical thailand ie good. problem is that it describes itself as 4 or even 5 star but in reality poor 3. caters mostly for russians , some koreans etc, and i suspect poor english on both sides of the desk results in the rather strained atmosphere- no smiles here. i guess value as 1000 baht per night but you could say the view itself was worth the rest. i wouldn't and left the next morning as soon as i rented a m/bike. expensive lesson re internet booking learnt. oh yes we slept ok.
