A wonderful resort. The staff were very attentive, the food was absolutely delicious, and the rooms, facilities and setting were sensational. You get a wonderful taste of Traditional Thai hospitality. Peaceful and relaxing. I could have stayed for months.

Room Tip: They are all good - all within 5 metres of a beautiful pool

Went for a meal at the sugar hut resort (did not stay at the resort)
One of the best meals we had in Thailand.
Food was excellent and the service great.
If you do not like spicey food keep away from the items on the menu that say spicey. Plenty of other choices.

This is My best stay in Thailand. Will definitely come back here! Beautiful and Comfortable Bungalows with a Mesmerizing Garden and swimming pool view. It really sure gives a Relaxing atmosphere, unlike those hotels in Downtown. An Oasis in Pattaya.

Beach. Tourist. Shopping Malls. Go Go Bars. Crowded Street. Over-Booked Hotels.
Want something different while in Pattaya? A place to get away from it all or you could say, a hide out spot. Let's stay in a jungle, sleep in a hut, swim all day, play with exotic birds and rabbits. It's the only Tropical Paradise in Pattaya.
be very..very.. lazy for a couple of days, lay by the pool, sipping on your favorite booze while getting a Traditional Massage. Oh..I miss Sugar Hut.

Room Tip: I would try to request for huts near the pool area.

We live in Bangkok for 14 years now and regularly come back to Sugar Hut for a short break because it gives nature, tranquility, and service in the middle of the ugly town of Pattaya. The Thai stye cottages have all the comfort you need. Beds are sunken in the floor, and cottages can be reached by short stairs only, so maybe not convenient for elderly or small children. There are 3 swimming pools, one bigger one, next to the restaurant and 2 other smaller ones, and every cottage has a pool view. There is privacy because of the garden: beautiful and well kept tropical trees and palms. Breakfast is ok, with Asian and Western choices fixed menus. The restaurant is good, with ok quality of Thai dishes. Sugar Hut is still a very good place to stay, but the management should think about an update/renovation in the near future.
