Excellent budget accommodation, Easy reach of all the main high spots.
Excellent budget restaurants close by. Markets and shopping malls close by
Everything within walking distance. For further places barter a deal with a baht bus.

Stayed for 6 nights in this mediocre hotel with outdated and run down decor. The breakfast offered at 150 Bhat was extremely poor with all the hot stuff as cold as the cold stuff!!! You can get better food for a lot less elsewhere.

The rate was 850 Bhat if you wanted the internet that was 200 Bhat PER DAY extra, what a rip off!!!!

The pool area was untidy and dirty with many broken and chipped tiles, looked as if it had been straifed by the Thai Airforce!!!!

Been there in December 2007 and I had a pleasant stay. Located a couple of minutes from the Walking Street it was not far from the action but still far enough to get a good nights sleep. Breakfast was the normal bacon & eggs , the rooms were fine and clean. The pool has seen better days. The servise is o.k
All in all a nice Budget Hotel in a great location , suited for Solo travellers.

Lek hotel is on a main road so if you are sleeping there ask for a back/ side room.please bear in mind a lot of older men use this hotel not just to sleep. At breakfast I was the only western woman and my husband the youngest man and he is over 50. In saying that if you are open minded the hotel is fine for a few days and is cheaper than others and probably better as pattaya is what it is.

My friends and I had no prior reservation when we arrived in Pattaya. After much walking around looking for a budget friendly hotel that would not scream low quality, Lek Hotel met our requirements. We needed a room for 3 people just for one day which should not cost more than THB 1,500. We were offered a room good for 2 for THB 600 where we can add an extra bed for THB 500. The staff allowed us to look at the room first before booking it. Check out time was 12 noon but we managed to have the nice lady at the reception allow us to check out at 1pm without an additional fee. The room was still spacious even with the 3rd bed added. The pillows are a bit hard though, but we didn't mind because we planned to have a sleepless night in Pattaya. After an enjoyable night out on Walking Street, our room smelled of cigarette which seemed to come from the room next door. Their wifi costs THB 60 per hour and THB 200 per day. We just went to the coffee shop just a few minutes away to enjoy the free wifi. Their breakfast buffet (eat all you can) costs THB 150 which is very cheap for a buffet but I didn't find it the best as they claim to be. They have a selection of salads, fruits, American and Thai breakfast. The food was just average and I don't recommend their selection of Thai food. If you don't eat much, then their ala carte will suffice for less than THB 100. You can step right outside and have a taste of authentic Thai food from the various food carts for THB 30-60. Our departure for Bangkok wasn't until 6pm on that day but the staff was kind enough to look after our luggage for free while we went out to see more of Pattaya. Everyone always has a ready smile and would go out of their way to serve.
