“Nice hotel in a dump of a city”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 9, 2013

The hotel is quite nice, really nice breakfast, nice pools and we found the rooms to be really nice, nice bathroom and bed. This is one of those hotels where everything has a fee, i.e. a map costs something ridiculous like 250 baht. Good location to walking street if you enjoy that kind of thing. We got sick of it though as every night to get to a restaurant we had to walk down the street and get hassled by Indians selling suits. It also gets depressing seeing all the old men with young thai hookers. We also noticed a lot of men coming back to the hotel with these young girls, and also bringing them to breakfast the next day. Anyway I guess this is what the town is all about, I'd recommend not visiting, better places to see in Thailand. Also, all the attractions are very expensive, and so is the shopping, I guess due to all the eastern Europeans who don't barter. Some items were more expensive than I would pay in Australia.
In terms of the hotel specifically it was nice to relax by the pool and enjoy the supurb buffet breakfast. Rooms are kept clean. We had a pool view which was also nice to sit out on the balcony. We could hear the thudding of the clubs out on walking street during the night so it wasn't that quite. We also had one of those rooms that has a connecting door to another room - one night the people in the next room were very loud and it kept sounding like they were trying to open our door. We were going to complain but only had one more night - so maybe request not to have a room like this as the sound travels through these doors very easily. I would not visit again.

Room Tip: Pool view rooms were nice, don't get adjoining room.

Not a bad hotel but noisy at night, rooms nice, bed hard, pool fantastic, drinks and food expensive, you are right there on walking street, if that's what you like then this is an ideal hotel, if I go again I will look at a hotel a little further away.

the best hotel in the world for me. the location is great ! in the center of the city, but you don't hear anything inside and outside the room. the room is perfect - clean, big enough and you have whatever you like and want. the staff is the best in the world - always smile and really want to give you a service, warmth and so nice, that I really want to take them home with me, to show everybody what is real service. the breakfast is perfect. really perfect. the GYM, the tennis is great. the big swimming pool is very welcome. everything is so perfect, that I really love to be there.

Room Tip: tropical deluxe is the best of the best !

Location is good, it is located in the end of walking street and have acceess to another road too. The hotel is rather old and in rooms you can see clearly the lack of maintanance. Rooms should not look like this hotels rated as it is. Also beds are hard as rock. Or actually they are what thai people like have but maybe not best for foreigners.

Music from discoes near by hotel can be heart some rooms expecially in main building.

There are 2 swimming pool area in the hotel. The seaside swimming pool is great. Only minus is the activity of staff to serve customers. Swimiing pool inside of resort has one problem. There are not a river but more like ditch going trough the resort and there is a lot standing water and you can smell that a large part of the resot as well as swimming pool.

Checkin prosedure should be develop. It is real slow and also customers are asked to sit down lounge to wait until check in is done. But before that customers should give their credit card and they are loosing sights what staff is doing with customer's credit card.

Restaurant is ok but sometimes staff forgot customer's orders if there are more customers in restaurant. Also always check your bills they are not correct all the time.

The location is great and staff is polite but time has run over the hotel because of lack of the maintanance. With decent maintanace this could be one of best hotels in Pattaya town.

We stayed here in first week of November. It was an awesome experience. I had read the reviews and would say it 100% true. The nature view is really beautiful. Walking street and beach is nearby. Thanks for the best service from the security till roomboys. All are so friendly. Enjoyed the welcome drink too. Would love to visit again.

I stayed at this hotel from Oct 25 to 27. It is a huge hotel-cum-resort covering about 45 acres and having 270 rooms. All the rooms are very good. The rooms are scattered all over. It is one of the greenest hotel I have ever visited. The staff is very nice and ready to help. There a 2 pools, one is inside the hotel and one outside next to the beach. The hotel is located at the end of the walking street. So all the night life activity starts bang at the footstep of the hotel. This is my 2nd time stay at this hotel not because of the location but because of the comfortable stay. The buffet breakfast is also very good with good option for Indians also.I would love to visit this place again.
