“Personally, I wouldn't miss it!”
Reviewed September 17, 2013

Firstly, thanks to all the many previous reviewers who commented very favourably about this hotel and encouraged me to give it a try. Again, I found your assessments spot on.

It is unnecessary to repeat here all the positives apart from mentioning briefly the high quality of staff service. You have to be a very difficult customer to find fault with any staff of this establishment. They are so well trained. Be polite and show a little understanding and you will be richly rewarded.

Breakfast here is as good as it gets plus they have a lovely, elegant lady who oversights the breakfast operation. She is an absolute vision.... Thai beauty personafied. Just seeing her each morning will make your day and that's before you partake of the extensive buffet on offer.

We stayed for 12 days and couldn't fault the hotel the service was impeccable, food was good value, our room was spacious and kept clean. The pool is one of the largest we have seen and suitable for all ages.
Breakfast was very good and shouldn't be missed.
We will definitely return again.
We are in the travel business and stay in hotels all around the world

Room Tip: We had a ground floor right by the pool

Left Bangkok to go to Siam Bayshore in Pattaya. The hotel looks good when you arrive, but we were kept waiting for along time in reception. Booked over a week in advance but there was no 3rd bed in our room which was put in while we waited in the room. Main areas are nice but room just about average, beds not particularly comfortable. Large selection at breakfast but the food was mostly cold and poor quality. Very close to Walking Street, so great for nightlife but grim when you have to see it all in the morning. Wifi in bar area only. On a positive note the pool and view is lovely.

However, make sure you take everything with you when you depart, my son left his wallet in the room and although we called the hotel within a couple of hours, but they said they did not have it, which is poor from a hotel that purports to be 4 star. Personally I would stay at one of the more quality hotels at the other end of the bay. Don't bother try to contact they hotel by email either as they don't respond!

The siam bayshore undoubtedly has the best location in pattaya as the back entrance of the hotel is right on the walking street. The rooms are great and very well maintained. The 2 swim pools are fab to unwind during the day. The resort has a great spa specially for couples as they have nice couple packages. The spa packages are lil expensive but worth it. The hotel serves a lavish breakfast and suits everyone's needs.
The resort is ideal for people to venture out on the walking street as you dont have to worry about reaching the hotel.
Overall a great property to stay when in pattaya.

I have stayed here a few times when I come to Pattaya and want to go out on Walking Street. The hotel is right off Walking st and probably the nicest in that area. I love the rooms their not huge but very nice and comfortable with a big bathroom and balcony. The hotel grounds are beautiful with trees and vines growing all over the hotel and fountains everywhere with the sound of water splashing. The pools are very big and nice with a slide excellent for children. Wifi worked really great for me all three times I stayed there. They have a Thai cooking/Spice class that is excellent. The Spa is wonderful too and they have a desk and person that can set you up on any kind of trip you want to do. Right outside hotel on Walking street is like a circus pretty fun to watch and enjoy. Never had a problem bringing a girl back to hotel for some after drinks. Really like this hotel and will stay again.

Hotel itself is ok, typical thai stay a bit old. Breakfast is nice but way too many guests. The room is large and fine, but not 5-stars level. However the surroundings are abit weird, the night walking street is what is Pattaya is about, but also those small streets close to hotels are as well the same. Probably not fit for family travellers unless you want fun. Also a bit difficult for taxi to come by. Will stay somewhere else next time.

I stayed with my Children and my daughter had a fall and injured herself. The staff on duty was first class assisting her until I arrived and then one of the employees took us to the hospital in his own car and waited until she was treated (a couple of hours) and took us back to the hotel.
Thank you very much for all the help in those stressfull moments!
The hotel itself is very pleasant with a uniquely good location. Many areas are renovated. The room we had (128) was good and clean. Mattress a bit hard but comfortable. Bathroom also renovated and clean. minibar well stocked and good selection of TV channels. Pool water was a bit cloudy.
All in all a great week end stay and I could imagine having a pleasant longer stay in this hotel.

Room Tip: The hotel has many blocks and we like the rooms at the back as they are quieter.
