We arrived on 5th March after a long flight to be greeted by a nice cold drink and scented flannel. (Arrived at Royal Cliff on 19th March given nothing) Taken to our room which was upgraded to a pool view. (At Royal Cliff we booked a Ocean View suite and were given a small room with two single beds with view obscured by lift shaft which had a window looking onto our balconey after complaining that this was not what we booked we were moved to a better room) The service from the staff at the Siam Bayshore was very friendly even down to the security staff outside who always had a smile for us. Perfect position for Walking Street which was just outside the Hotel. But it could have been miles away as we never heard it. Pool and Grounds fab. Breakfast fab lots to choose from. Will definitely use again.

We stayed at the Siam Bayshore for 6 nights while we were in Pattaya. This hotel would have to be one of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed in. The service was amazing and the general cleanliness is more than 10/10!!! The staff are very friendly and preofessional and very honest people. The beach in front of the hotel is not advised to swim in but the hotel made up for that with their 2nd pool across the street looking over the beach. The buffett that is across the road which is part of the hotel at night is 800 baht each but well worth its money!! The seafood is on going and the service is amazing. Even though I will not return to Pattaya itself I will really miss staying in a hotel with such a high standard. Well done Siam Bayshore - We had a wonderful stay!!

Room Tip: Deluxe pool view room ground floor is the best

Great hotel ! Great Location ! Only one thing was the piano being played in the main building well into the night. If you wanted to get an early bed it could be quite annoying !! This hotel would be my choice every time in Pattaya

I was pleasantly suprised by the high standard of this hotel. Being at located at the southern end of Pattaya's famous "Walking Street", I was expecting it to be a little rough and full of single blokes there for a good time. But no, it was very much a family hotel and very comfortable. Although it is a gust friendly hotel.

The facilities (restuarant, bar, pool, gym, etc.) where all excellent, as was the service. The only negative for me was that the hotel beach was filthy (garbage and litter everywhere) and I certainly would not use the beach or swim in the sea! I didn't see anyone using the beach it ws so bad.

A great place to stay if you want to spend most evenings on Walking Street, otherwise a bit of a walk to the Soi's off Beach Road.

Overall I was very happy with the hotel and would definitely stay there again.

I have been to Thailand several times, but never before to Pattaya. This time I wanted a beach holiday with plenty to see and do, but with the opportunity to relax in comfort as well. The Siam Bayshore was exactly what I needed.

The hotel is set in tropical gardens and sits right on the beach. I was really impressed with the quality of the hotel and its grounds. The rooms and the courtyards from which they are accessed are so peaceful and attractive. There are pools with huge fish cruising around and gentle waterfalls everywhere. It is such a beautiful setting.

The central pool is stunning and is surrounded by beautiful palm trees and plenty of good quality loungers. It has enough shade for those with European skins, if needed. The pool at the front of the hotel has virtually no parasols and you're under the full blaze of the tropical sun all the time. Both have pool service and waiters will bring you food or drink on demand at prices which, for a 4* hotel, are reasonable.

On the subject of service I have to say I was very impressed. Every member of staff I came across was generous with the world-famous Thai, wide smile and graceful hospitality. On my third night I was kept awake by an all-night party in the room above. On complaining to the management the next day I was politely heard and immediately moved to a room on the top floor in another wing to an upgraded room. The rest of my stay was very peaceful. Excellent service.

The buffet breakfast was first class and included an eggs-made-to-order station, cereals, fresh fruit, meats (hot & cold) pastries, juices, smoothies - you name it - you'd have to be a career-hardened critic to find fault.

The hotel is an oasis of luxury and calm at the very end of the famous Walking Street and so you get the very best of both worlds: the crazy, hyper excitement of the best of Pattaya's night life which is so much fun, and the ability to shut it all off and retreat into a quiet, tropical haven within walking distance when you've had enough.

The only issue I have with the hotel is access to the internet. It is free in the lobby but in my room it was charged at 17 bht p/min for the first 14 mins. If the 14 mins was exceeded the hotel charged for a full day!

All in all, though, a top hotel. I recommend it.

Siam Bayshore is awesome - not perfect perhaps, but then what hotel is. The rooms are handsome and comfortable. The pools are fabulous and great to lie around. Room service is not cheap but the food is decent, and the service is excellent in my experience (though a lot of the staff have limited English). Be sure to specify if you want a double bed. I was alone and was given twin beds for the first 2 weeks. It was great when they finally moved me to a room with a king size bed.
As I say, it isn't perfect. The river running through the complex is heavily polluted and smelly. But it just means you get a noseful when the wind blows the wrong way. All in all, I recommend the place and can't wait to return.
Thanks to Kevin, Jim and Ton for being so nice.
