“Amazing Find, Unique, Modern yet very Thai, on the beach!!!!”
Reviewed January 30, 2011

Can't say enough good things. I have stayed many times at the Rabbit. I can recommend it over other accommodation in Pattaya/Jomtien . It is a mix of traditional modern Thai, with very comfortable accommodation, great swimming pools (Adults only pool), beachfront restaurant, and right on the best beach in the area. Each Villa sleeps a minimum of 4 comfortably, flat screen Tv's, nive buffet breakfast, etc. Grounds are great and leafy. Staff are very friendly and all speak English. The resort also has its own section of beach with safe swimming out the front, and I really loved how they will even put the beach chairs and umbrellas out for you so you can have your feet lapped by the ocean. It is not the usual high-rise experience and is quite unique. If you want an inexpensive holiday, and a great experience (1hr 15 min from airport) everyone will like, then you should try the Rabbit

Had a wonderful time at The Rabbit. Resort is great in many ways - service, food, amenities, etc - but best is location. Directly on the beach at Jomtien; and not many hotels here can boast that. Deck chairs are set up for you directly across from the resort and staff bring you food and drinks - almost as soon as you think about needing something.

Highly recommended. Will certainly be my next holiday venue of choice.

Pattaya is a 1 hour plus taxi trip from Bangkok and as such a good beach location if you only have a weekend to spare or are otherwise short of time. The southern beach where Rabbit Resort is located is still lined with high rise, and the beach is a long straight stretch of sand, rather crowded and almost entirely taken with beach chairs (it made me think of the crowded beaches in the South of France). The Rabbit resort though is a nice quiet heaven in the midst of all this, and as long as you stay in the resort it is really enjoyable. There where 2 things we really enjoyed: 1) there are 2 swimming pools of which one is only for adults..... We have kids, and had our share of fun, so here is a place where you can enjoy a moment of quietness 2) The staff who are all very friendly. with one person really standing out. Windy, the resort manger, really did a great job making us feel welcome in every way she could. She was there for a nice chat, bought us our favourite Rabbit Thai currie in the local super market (well, I should say imitation), and even drove us to a restaurant one evening.

I stayed at the Rabbit Resort for 2 nights, including New Year's Eve. The welcome was genuine and warm and I felt at home immediately. The traditional Thai design cottages make the resort feel like a small community and the overall layout and landscaping provided ample privacy even with the resort at full capacity. The New Year's Eve party and banquet were the best. The food (both quality and selection) was the by far the best I've ever had. Ever, and I've been to plenty of banquets and smorgasbords before. Each staff member is dedicated to making sure each guest has a good time. You step off the resort property and onto the beach so there's no need for transport. This place is a hidden gem, different from all the rest, and having stayed there, I understand why guests return year after year. Nothing ordinary or cookie-cutter about this place or the staff.

I stayed at the Rabbit Resort on a friend's recommendation and boy was I delighted. The staff were smiling and couteous, my room- an upstairs suite was clean, calming and quiet and yet only a short stroll through the lush tropical garden to the beach or the pool. Anyone familiar with Kim's resort at Toowoon Bay in Sydney will see how the Rabbit Resort belongs in the Small Luxury Hotels of The World. I rated it 5/5. I will be back and for longer.

I have stayed at Rabbit a few times. I keep coming back. If you want a few days of relaxation and in a wonderful Thai ambiance, then this is the place. It is the complete opposite of the corporate hotel look and it is the 'family' feel that is attractive.

Usually, we are travellers – but for once in a while we just want to take our time. Then walking, swimming, sunbathing, reading and enjoying a good meal is enough. If you feel like that, visit Jomtien Beach and stay at the unbelievable Rabbit Resort. Amidst a beautiful and well-kept tropical garden you’ll find spacious, stylish bungalows, two swimming pools, the best restaurant in a wide neighbourhood – and, above all, real hospitality, professional and kind management and a wonderful staff. We stayed at the resort for three weeks, and enjoyed every minute of it. Thanks to Deborah, Pansai and Wendy for making their guests feel that Paradise really exists. No doubt: these are five stars, shining bright!
