Very good service, accommodating host, extensive menu and well prepared food. Owner was very nice; even though I was a bit underdressed even by beach standards. Impressive menu and a nice selection of reasonably priced wines.

Have been wanting to visit this restaurant for quite some time due to recommendations of friends,well I finally last evening braved the elements and plumped for Yupins.

Overall a charming ambiance and very pleasant owner named Pete,the food top draw and well presented with a quaffable house "superior" red wine to wash it all down with a most enjoyable meal was to be had.

Will visit again soon....

I love Yupins. Eaten there many times but my last visit was, I am truly sad to say, a disappointment. Firstly the table I booked, and I saw it on the chart and confirmed it with the owner, had gone to someone else. It was admitted it was the restaurant that was at fault and they were gracious about it but there was no excuse.

Tried to order Pate but was told it was not available. It has been on the menu for ages and, I accept, says "when available", but after several visits it has not appeared.

We order two medium rare steaks. They came up well done and very thin. Chewy too.

For pudding my Thai friend order a Mango dish. He did not finish it as he said the mango was "cheap" and not of the quality it should be.

It was not a good evening for the price and we will not be going back for a while to give it a chance to get its act together and restore the quality of the offering. So sad to write this. I like the people and the staff are lovely.

Yupins is a bit tucked away in the jomtien complex. But worth seeking it out. The manager has had decades of experience in cooking best quality food and he has trained his chefs personally to insure it's done his way which is the gourmet European way. Not your run of the mill average restaurant because it has alot of unusual dishes. But they also do Thai food and their prices are reasonable
