Beautiful landscaped gardens, well kept animals and an incredible crocodile lake.

Very reasonable entrance fee (850Bht) and the chance to sit next to a Tiger was the main driver for me. Even though very touristy, it fulfilled a tick in the box of one of the things that I have always wanted to do!

The crocodile lake was interesting. On the viewing area above the lake you could purchase chicken (dead not alive) and attach them to poles and dangle above the heads of at least 50 large crocodiles. Whereupon they will attempt to open those intimidating jaws and snap very loudly.

The Russians seemed to be in their element participating in this!

All in all a great place to visit.

The stone garden is well kept, so many beautiful settings to take pictures. If you are tired of walking, you can take a tour in a train for a nominal fee. We did enjoy the scenery, crocodile show, elephant, and the zoo. You have got to see the pond full of thigh-size fish. The jaw dropping for me was the opportunity for tourists to "fish" the crocodile, and hear their jaws snapped for chicken skeleton hung to the wooden rod.

I really enjoyed this place.. they have very beautiful and tranquil gardens along with a large variation of animals to see; giraffes, tigers, crocs, birds, elephants and more. I would definitely recommend it to a friend but there is no point in going to this place more than once - it gets a little boring once you've done all the things availabe. You get the chance to feed the crocodiles in the lake as well as the elephants. I also got to take a photo with a baby tiger for 100 Baht (there are adult tigers too). The bad points about this place (in my opinion) are some of the animals, such as the tigers, seemed to be chained up pretty much all day and were just lying around whilst people took photos of them... it seemed quite cruel. Also the crocodile show was a little disappointing and again seemed a little bit cruel to the crocs. Overall I'd say its definitely worth going, its suitable for families with kids, groups of friends and couples. it wasn't expensive either, I think around 800 Baht for two of us.
