I should have researched this beach more thoroughly before I went. It was a stark reminder of how more people need to care about environmentalism, and how tourism tends to only contribute to that apathy.

This beach was absolutely filthy. Trash floated in the water and lined the coastline, among dead, bloated fish. This beach could be beautiful if it wasn’t completely neglected by humans, as you can see in the photo (all of the shiny objects on the beach are garbage).

Honestly, this place made me super sad in a place that already makes me feel sad. Don’t bother unless you want to lose more faith in humanity. There were dope seashells though.

We had visited this popular beach in the Jomtien area during our vacation in Pattaya. We had enjoyed sunset from the beach. Many tourists were enjoying swimming or water sports or walking or just relaxing on one of the many paid sitting decks on the beach. The place gets crowded in the evening since there is a market right opposite the beach and we had difficulty parking our car.

This is a cleaner and quite beach with very less ships around. Can just walk along the beach or rest under the shacks having beer or chilled coconut drink. Nice, quiet place to spend evening. But shacks also roll up around 6:30 pm.
For pure swimming purpose Koh Larn is the place.

Is it because of the sea level rising ? There was nearly no place to be in this beach (5m max, and I went there 2 times with the same conclusion: not enough place to feel good), and in fact nearly nobody was swimming there when I was there. Instead, I would recommend the little cozy sweet sand beach in Phratamnak in between Jomtien and Pattaya.
