A excellent example of Thai Buddhist building practises... Amazing details, wonderful to take your time and explore this delicate and intricate masterpiece .
Be aware that it is a sacred place and respect all aspects of the Buddhist faith and dress appropriately and behave respectfully .

Only 15 min journey from Amari Tower and organised our own transport to and from venue. Don't understand how anyone could say this was rubbish and like a theme park...beautiful structure and although you are asked to fork out for elephant ride or photos...that is to be expected and not that expensive at all. You don't have to pay for these if you don't want to. I found the structure fascinating and humbling and so glad we took the time to visit. A must see for travellers to the area

This was an expensive day out, it is a long way down Naklua soi 12, A bit f a strange 1, i read it was good for young children so i took my 22 month old son who absolutely loved it, Horse and cart down the the sanctuary and around, The carvings are good but if youv seen 1, It was an exceptionally hot day and the wind streams through the place which was pleasant. There is a little small animal place outside, my son was absolutely delighted at the petting zoo, and the fishing and little boat trip by the souvenir shop, I did see dolphins advertised online they are no longer there. Beach area is lovely. Had a very pleasant day but there are a lot of little things that add to the price, good for toddlers

This is one of the must seen in Pattaya, it is more than a temple... It is located on the ocean creating an amazing natural view. There are many ticket options, where each ticket allows you to do specific things inside. The best option was a tour around the temple with the elephant, a walking tour inside the temple and the great photos they take it for you with the temple as a background. There is a show also for like half an hour but nothing special about it, basic one, just for fun. There is also a restaurant and massage area

Amazing structure and always changing & growing.
I feel it's a must see when in Pattaya...or Bangkok. The work and craftsmanship that has gone into the 'Santuary of Truth' is amazing......and take the time to do a guided tour at no extra charge...you learn so much it is only a half day activity.
The sanctuary is an all-wood building filled with sculptures based on traditional Buddhist and Hindu motifs
Entrance fee: 500 Baht....but I feel there is no need to do the extras...elephant ride...horse cart ect...
Also, Sio 12 has some great little eating places and a great friendly little bar called 'Friends Corner' to stop for a cold drink and they can also get food menus from nearby restaurants & bring food to you so you don't have to move and can just relax....so don't hurry home!
