The temple itself is amazing to look at, but we were around the whole thing in approx 20 mins. We never took the free tour guide as we feel sometimes they can drag things out for longer than needed. We saw the elephants that you could ride, one swaying its head side to side and looking tormented, not a great site. Like many attractions it seemed more about selling extras.

Iv been to a lot of temples in Thailand before, but none like this! It is truly amazing. My fiancé isn't a fan of temples but he was so impressed he was even taking photos!! The workmanship that has gone into this (and still going into it) is truly spectacular! Definatly worth seeing.

A must visit for the first time travelers.

Tip: - Do carry hand fans as it’s too hot and humid. It is close to the beach (All though you cannot enter the beach).

2 Hours @ this place is sufficient. also visit the area where th ecraftsman work.

Really amazing place with an interesting history. We enjoyed our time here. A few stairs are involved getting down, nothing daunting though. It is and incredible structure and the craftsmanship and artistry is great. It is always in a state of constant build and repair it seems. I recommend getting a guide it brings the place to life. Without one you just have nice pictures. They seem to have guides speaking just about every language. There is a boat you can take out (300baht) for some great views from the water. The show was a surprise, we did not expect one. Not very long but entertaining especially the guys with the swords. Worth a visit (500baht entry)

This is very very impressive sanctuary, I don't have words to impress all the beauty and majesty of this place. Nice thing that the guide is included in the price, and they have different language guides.
