“Excellent british cafe food, well cooked and inexpensive”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 31, 2013

all day Breaksfast, Sunday Roasts (especially delicious Lamb) and other general british cafe food is REALLY well cooked and tastes authentic. Unpretentious eatery and excellent value. I have been to Pattaya for 25 years and never found a better cafe for Bacon, Eggs, Black Pudding, Sausages and big mugs of HOT tea. Popular with expats living in Pattaya

“All day breakfast”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 1, 2013

Palmers is a long-established Thai managed restaurant that also caters for western dishes - basic stuff, but it's my favourite spot for vegetarian breakfast. Once the staff get to know you -they're helpful and remember how you like it cooked. The restaurant is located on a corner of Soi 13/4, a stone's throw from Beach road, and is open on two sides, with plenty of ceiling fans. Seating is ample, plus there's a daily copy of the Bangkok Times to read.

For everyday eating it's as good as it gets for location, price, and quality.

I choose breakfast No3 but say 'not want bacon'. The full-size dining plate turns up with three! poached eggs - perfectly cooked - on two pieces of toast, fried potatoes, baked beans, and a large poached tomato. Price 120 baht including a mug of tea/coffee. Cannot beat that value anywhere.

My partner has the Thai seafood, which she says is so-so; her favourite is 18 Coins on Soi Bakhaow - which is also good (see my review).
