“Another average beach side walk”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 30, 2013

The beach road separates the beach from the mainroad , and just in the opposite you can find a lot of Hotels and Resorts.frankly speaking , there's nothing much to do or see here.Maybe you can jog early in the morning , but in noon time , its nothing to be seen here, some hawkers , view of the aligning ships and boats,Just an ordinary walking boardwalk beside the beach.

“dirt around”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 22, 2013

Suprising carelessness of the authorities, who do not care about comfort of pedestrians or about cleanliness. If you walk down the sidewalk from the city - you have to push the crowd and fend off pesky salesmen(breathing in the smell of drains). If you walk by the sea, it is necessary to step over the garbage and fend off girls uncertainty sex and age who pester you

“Totally Tourist Place”

Nice beach view with restaurants and souvenirs everywhere. It's a shame though that ladyboys approach you every 10 seconds at night time. Many thiefs too.

“Welcome to "The Coconut Bar"!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 1, 2013

Beach road is also known as The Coconut Bar (open 24x7x365) - a euphemism that derives from the coconut trees that line it's length and the ladies that can be found there mainly at night (in retrospect this really should be in the nightlife section 555) but to a lesser degree any time of day. You'll also find numerous (mobile) food vendors, restaurants, bars and gift shops here. Songtaews (pick-up trucks) run from North to South as far as Walking Street then go back North along second road - cost 10 baht but try to have the right change.

It's perfectly safe (well more or less) just keep you hands on you valuables and your wits about you especially at night.

“Unique in every way”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 4, 2013

The beach road pattaya has spirit of festival round the clock. It devides the blue sea, silver sand beach and the Hotels, malls, bars, shops and commercial establishments of Pattaya city. The road is always full of traffic but the wide foot path between road and beach is the centre of activity. We come across people from all the countries of the world mixing will local girls and vendors selling their things. It is lined by palm trees with a number of benches to relax. Just across the sea you can find bars, eataries, banks and hotels ect. Sitting on the bench, enjoying sprawling blue sea on one side and activities of life on the other side is a unique experience. One can spend hours and hours sitting and strolling on the beach road. It is 4 to 5 kms long and full of people and activities. Eat, shop, relax, sing, enjoy and you can pick up a good company also.
