Rooms are modern and well fitted in the 4 storey beachfront modest hotel in the reasonable price range of $30 per night including breakfast. Downstairs restaurant is reasonable priced with good food and pleasant decor. Water pressure in showers is feeble. Beds firm but comfortable. Front rooms with view of beach, street & water are noisy. Traffic and loud firecrackers going off on the beach any night up till 3 am. Some so loud they set off car alarms. This part of Pattaya is very popular with Russians. Menus in Thai, English & Russian. Even real estate brochures for condos in Russian.
Pattaya is noisy, dirty & sleazy. The beach is crammed with deck chairs & umbrellas. The water is dirty. Parts are sectioned off for swimming only. Other parts with noisy jet skis & speed boats. If you want a beach go to Koh Samet or Koh Laran off the coast. Both of these have good beaches, blue water, good walks and a variety of entertainment and restaurants.
The Million Years of Stone Park is interesting, also the Sanctuary of Truth... You are better off going to other parts of Thailand..& Laos.

Room Tip: Front rooms with views are very noisy late into the night. Water pressure very feeble in showers despite modern rooms. Good value - but best avoid Pattaya altogether...
