“a good value for the money”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 7, 2012

i'v stayed there 8 nights - bery clean hotel the rooms are big and nice (if you like the thai decoration :) also the toilet and shower are big and very nice. it seems that the hotel has just past renovation so everything looks new, it's location is perfect (on the beachroad close to the walking street, right next to mike shopping mall.

it had a nice breakfast (the only downside is that it's outside and not in close and airconditioned roon - but it's a vey rich one anyone will find something good to eat there and.

the service is great (there was a little problem with my air condition and they fixed it almost imidiatelly!) - they pay attention to the "small but important things" like glasses in the roon, also fot coffee and tea, you can make your own coffe in the room, they even put tooth brush and tootpast in the rom every day.

over all it's a good return for the money (paid about 100$ per night).

If you are into gold plated wardrobes, white sofas and indoor waterfalls, this is the place for you. Honestly, when it comes to kitsch, The Empress cannot be beaten. Liberace would have loved id. having said that the rooms are quite spacious, and the breakfast is well appointed. The only dissapointing factor is the really bad coffee. The do have a coffee machine, but it is one that serves the instant stuff. If you want to have good coffee, from a real coffee machine, you will be charged extra.
I have been to Pattaya for work twice, and the Empress is a rather good business hotel. The staff is excellent, which is probably one of the most important factors when selecting a hotel.

The lk empress is a very nice, clean . Potentially a great hotel but is definitely a work in progress. No internal dining so you eat in the heat or as was our case in the rain. The room was, good size, everything you need with a great view of the beach and sea. but one thing need to highlight, the water temperature is not stable during shower. The hotel itself is in a great location right on beach road close to all the popular nightlife spots. The hotel service is friendly and attentive. i really liked the breakfast buffet, from 7 - 11 a.m. there is also a family mart convenience store attached to the lobby. Wi Fi in room is excellent, The pool is small , no pool bar and very few sun loungers. The hotel is still kind of new but is already showing a lot of wear but overall is Great and i will stay there again...

I moved to the LK Empress after I was not happy with LK Renaissance. I had a much better stay at Empress but the room and the jacuzzi was smaller then the Renaissance. I had the same style rooms and the price were the same. I like the Empress but I felt like I was only paying to be close to the beach. There are numerous good hotel on beach road that are much cheaper.

Room Tip: The breakfast is very good

We stayed at this hotel 16th of may till 20th of may 2012 . Hotels first impressions were great . Lobby area's decor was beautiful. Hotel staff was very helpful , polite, nothing was to much for them . We had 3 rooms and all were very spacious and beds were so comfortable .Our rooms were looking in to the side street but we had no problem with noise . My bathroom was flooding behind the toilet , i had told the hotel reception a few times but nothing had been done . I take it ,maybe it was a big job and they left it, and wanted room to be vacant in order to repair. They should have offered me another room. Then again I didn't ask for one as I thought they would have offered me this service. Hotel's location was so good , if I go back to Pattaya I would stay here again . Walking street is a 5 minute walk , Mike Shopping mall was practically next door then the other shopping mall was also a 5 minute walk. Hotel is on beach rd , breakfast is held at the front area of the hotel lobby, which is an open area. While having your breakfast lovely beach view entertains your eyes . Other then breakfast I wouldn't have anything at the bar , lunch , dinner or even a little snack . Staff in the restaurant were very careless and ignorant . On few occasions our order was mixed up , bill was over charged that's why we only had breakfast there as this was included in our package . But many many restaurants around you and many choices . One more thing don't forget to get yourself a insect spray from the mini mart downstairs, good investment! Just be care full when it is wet the entrance area and the breakfast area is extremely slippery. Would I stay again in LK Empress ? Definitly yes.

Room Tip: I would recommend sea view rooms at the front of the hotel. We stayed in a deluxe room which looks i...

The hotel is superb. Treats guests like Royal Families. The location is ideally suited to cover Beach Road, 2nd road by walking only. The breakfast is served in the open lobby facing the sea. The staff is very courteus. Housekkeping is superb. Wish best of luck to 'LK Group family'.
