“Excellent visit to Chan Resort”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 7, 2013

If you are a naturist and are visiting Thailand do not miss the Chan Resort. Two weeks ago my partner and I spent 4 nights and 5 days at the Chan resort and have nothing but praise for the accommodation and service offered. We received a very warm welcome upon arrival from the staff. Our room was very large clean and Air-conditioned. The pool was absolutely sparkling clean. Each morning we were served a delicious and well presented breakfast on the patio just outside of our room. The lunch menu was also very good and the prices were very reasonable. When we ran out of some items Mr. Chan went to the store and got them for us (so that we didn't have to leave the pool) at no additional cost. Chan's also offers a great massage service in your room from a local massage therapist recommended by them. Both my partner and I had two massages each and they were blissful. It was also nice to spend time with other naturist couples, some who had visited Chan many times and some like us were there for the first time. One thing is for sure we will definitely go back to Chan's the next time we are in Thailand, only next time we will spend a whole week there.

Room Tip: Pay the extra 400 Baht for a VIP room, these rooms are located right next to the pool

We have enjoyed 3 days pleasant experience at Chan Resort, and believe what the above reviews tell------the resort is friendly and peaceful, really a nice place to go! We are Chinese living part-time in the US., but many of our naturist friends have no idea that there is such a resort in Thailand, so we think it may be better for Chan Resort to make contact with or link to AANR. We plan the next visit to the resort around the second weekend of November and we wish to meet more friends from all over the world.

Room Tip: Room A3 or A4 locating in the middle has a good view over the pool.

We stayed there late last year during the off-peak season and it turned out to be one of the most memorable holidays we have ever had. It was the first time my wife and sister in law had been to a naturist resort but it wasn't more than a few minutes after we arrived there and went for a swim that they were completely comfortable in their surroundings. The hospitality was great with extremely friendly staff who went out of their way to assist in anyway they could. The rooms were clean and the atmosphere of the whole place made us feel very welcome. The internet worked fine which is a must for any place we stay so overall we had a great time. We will definitely be staying there regularly and we are looking forward to our stay there again in November this year. Can't recommend it enough! Thanks Chan Resort.

Room Tip: The executive rooms are probab;y worth the extra cost. Close to the pool and on the ground floor.

After Xmas this year we decided to take a break in January. We discovered this small friendly family run hotel. It's clean, the food is excellent and the service is efficient and friendly. The rooms are well cleaned every day and the shower room & toilets we found were spotless.

Both the pool and surrounding sunbathing area is small, sadly we found the noise of the water spouting elephants feature a little tiresome, but thankfully it does stop at lunchtime. Once a day Mr Chan usually brings out chilled coconuts with straws – Delicious!

We enjoyed the full English breakfasts as well as lunchtime snacks. In the evening by prior arrangement one can order dinner which is also delicious & varied if you like Thai cuisine.

On more than one occasion Mr Chan drove us into town in the hotel mini bus without charge a very nice gesture! They will also arrange motor scooter hire at very reasonable rates.

If you fancy an evening stroll there's plenty of bars & restaurants in the local vicinity to visit. If you want to go into the centre of town to see and sample the girly bars on the famous 'Walking Street,' one can always get on those mini buses which stop anywhere on the main road to pick you up with a very cheap set ticket charge.

Most of all you can really relax in this well run family hotel.

This was our second visit to the unique Chan Resort, a naturist-friendly resort in Pattaya. As naturists we enjoy nakations for our holiday if at all possible, so this year we attended the second NATCON - the Thailand Naturists conference which was being held at Chan Resort. We booked the best room in the place - right beside the swimming pool. With over 40 naturists attending, we were wondering how the resort would cope with such a crowd as it only has 13 double rooms. They did wonders, using another resort across the road for overflow accommodation. At no stage did the resort feel crowded and the pool party was just great - imagine dancing in the pool to karaoke in your birthday suit with other friendly naturists.
As usual, the facilities were top class, clean and well maintained. The meals were great - especially the huge breakfast, which is included in the room rate. The staff are friendly and welcoming. We feel part of the family now! Thanks to Mr and Mrs Chan and Ja and the other ladies for making us feel so welcome and looking after us.
If you are visiting Thailand as a naturist or if you would like to try out the naturist lifestyle, make sure that you visit the Chan Resort. It is just the best!

Room Tip: The downstairs rooms are slightly more expensive but they are closer to the pool (fall out of bed an...
