“An ideal combination”
Reviewed July 1, 2012

This Jomtien restaurant is not on the main road but it's easy to find and sure worth finding !
On the four points that matter in any restaurant (service, food, price, decor) owners Lydia and Christophe have achieved a high performance.
In low season there's a reasonably priced set menu which is great for residents here and if you're a passing tourist then you'll have to go several times during your stay because you'll want to try everything a la carte !
The Terrine is yummy and truly French, the Lapin Chasseur is just like my mother's, the Steak Tartare is exceptional (and manually chopped which makes a world of difference) and on the sweet side, their Tarte Tatin, Ile Flottante and Creme Brulee are to die for. As for the quality of service, Lydia is the perfect host : friendly, fun, efficient.
About the Aircon issue (which was indeed a drawback) : it's installed now.
About the neighborhood issue (the "boys" in the bars around that area) : this is NOT Walking Street or Patpong, the atmosphere is cool, low key and your kids will NOT be exposed to any shocking sights, unless you consider that being gay is shocking. If you do, then perhaps Jomtien is not your ideal destination. Try Laramie, Wyoming, next time.

“Love this Restaurant”
Reviewed June 24, 2012

Last summer, while I was staying in Pattaya, I discovered this place and went back day after day until I had basically eaten my way through their entire menu! The hosts are lovely, the food is well-sourced and beautifully prepared, and the prices -- including the wines -- are very reasonable. Looking forward to repeating the experience this year!

“French the French way”
Reviewed January 8, 2012

Lidiya and Christoff are the nicest French people i have met. If you want some sophisticated French grub, this is the only place in Pattaya/Jomtien

“Good food, fair price. No Aircon, location not suitable for younger children.”
Reviewed November 23, 2011

This restaurant is a little gem. Hearty portions, great bread and quality cuisine. Service very friendly and efficient - unfortunately no air conditioning a major negative in this tropical country. The location definitely not suitable for younger children due to the 'boys' in the other bars, perhaps for the open-minded this is not any concern.

“Expensive and bad food”
Reviewed July 30, 2011

I have tried this restaurant once, and for me it was the last time. Food is expensive and absolutely not of the good quality other french restaurants in town here offer. The owners are french, and I presume that they have no experience at all in running a french cuisine.
Prices of wine are also far too high.
