This hotel has a special deal until the end of October so you essentially get 5 star facilities at a 3 star price. The room was gorgeous, the staff went out of their way because it was a special occasion for us (rose petals everywhere), and the pool is incredible. The hotel is also in a great spot on the headland, which is a needed retreat after a the inevitable boisterous and chaotic night on walking street.

The gym is brand new (as is everything) and the balconies are huge. Only (small) criticism is the average breakfast - but don't let that turn you off. We'll definitely be going back before the prices go up after October.

Room tip: Poolside rooms have their own private entrance to the 80m pool....

yes the room is spacious and fancy, the lobby, the pool are also looking good. but first of all the food terrible and way overpriced. 250 baht for canned salad? why? Now look at the name of the hotel: Grand Heritage Beach Resort & Spa. There is no spa! Bottom-line: poor value for money

Only had a week to take my sister (who came visit me from UK) so decided on Pattaya. The hotel has not yet been completed (still doing the spa and a restaurant) but it is stunning. The rooms are very large with big bathrooms with both tub and shower. Each room has a balcony and a DVD/CD player. The pool area is so relaxing with a big pool and separate children,s pool. Staff were very good and friendly. The hotel goes directly out onto the beach. Not a fantastic beach but nice to see from the comfort of your sunbed. About a 10 mins taxi ride from the centre of Pattaya and 2 hours from Bangkok

It´s time for their ´soft opening´ so the rates and some of the facilities refelct that. There is just one restaurant at present and I´m sure over the coming months general improvements to an already first class establishment will be made. I paid just over 4000THB for a Lagoon Room - into the pool directly from bedroom which is just great. i expect this rate will double once the ´soft opening´ has finished and will be charging the 5 star rates as per similar resorts in the region. I would pay the extra and return just for the location (right on the beach) and far enough but not too far from all the local bars, restaurants and clubs.
