“Great value”
Reviewed December 31, 2011

I stayed here for a week in october ,and then returned for a week in november, The rooms are a good size comfortable and clean. The first room I had was on the 3rd floor with a nice balcony to sit on, and was 650 baht a night, The second room was on the ground floor, the balcony was not so nice, but when you opened the front door the pool was right there,it was now 700 baht. The price rises in the high season.. I filmed the room and pool and put it on youtube.. The staff are a mixed bunch some more friendly than others, but they are all helpful if you ask them anything. There is no restaurant or breakfast, just coffee or drinks. Close by are many places where you can get breakfast from 50 baht up. Opposite the JP Court you can get fish and chips and mushy peas from 100 baht and nearby steaks or Thai food at good prices. Its a busy location with many bars and other entertainment establishments. The best thing for me was the pool,it is a very nice place to spend a relaxing afternoon.

Many returning customers here and very friendly people at the reception.
Basic but big and clean rooms with a balcony (don't take the smaller ones without balcony on ground floor)
Best to take a balcony room with view on the swimming pool.
Big fridge with the free daily 2 bottles of water, the rest you can put in yourself (the way I like it)
Good TV with many channels.
Wifi only on ground floor near the reception or swimming pool.
No safe in the room.
A good swimming pool but gets less sunshine now due to a construction (new hotel) nearby, that blocks the sun.
Location on soi Lengkee is good (for me), but not near the beach.
Free parking for your car in front of the hotel, I think for about 10 cars.

Good budget option.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with view on the swimming pool.

I'm writing this from the poolside at j p court. This is the first time I've stayed here and will not be the last. I cannot fault the place one bit. I'm paying 800 baht a night and I think that great value, I'm sure the owners will not mind my saying however that I don't think the place is suited to families but if like me you are a single traveler it's perfect in every way

I've stayed at J&P a few times. I find it to be a clean and honest option for the budget traveler. The rooms are basic, could do with a repaint and some wall decorations but they are roomy, air conditioned and cleaned daily. For 750baht per night you get a good sized room with TV, balcony, honest staff and a nice little pool with attractive landscaping.
It is a small hotel and pool area but adequate for a cool down and sun bake (if that's your thing). Pool towels are supplied at reception and are always available. Work next door on a large new hotel complex should be nearly finished by now (mid 2010), buts its only a little bit noisy during the day. Pattaya is noisy anyway so i didn't really notice it.
Breakfast is not included but there are lots of choices across the road, down the street, around the corner........everywhere.. Just go for a walk and people watch while dining. It has be one of the most entertaining places to people watch I've ever been. What a variety!
Its probably about a 10-15 slow walk to the beach from the hotel. All flat and easy walking. Also, lots of scooter hire options all around. Get a helmet and wear it. The local police are always looking for foreigners to pull over.
The Song thaews (small blue covered vehicles with two opposing bench seats) running constantly are available on Soi Buakou and loop around to the beach road and down to walking street.
If you're looking for luxury and room service go somewhere else but if you don't mind being a little bit out the way with easy access to everywhere and a nice basic lodging then it might be right for you.

Stayed at the J & P many times. In my opinion good value for 750bht or 850bht pool view.
Friendly staff , some Ex Pats live there on a permanent basis. Swimming pool always checked & clean ( sun only hits for about 4 hrs. ) Clean bedding/towels everyday. No breakfast but free coffee until midday. Le Katai restaurant across the road serving very reasonable priced meals.( Deliver to hotel-no charge)
