Well theres not much history or cultural things to see in Pattaya,The sanctuary of Peace excluded,so when you need a break from the bars and everything, this lovely little relaxing place just down the road is an ideal day trip.I dont remember how much it was but Its definately not expensive as i,ve been back 3 times haha, and well worth every penny. It was built by the Thai Chineese communuty by land donated by the King, and there are terracoota statues and bronze chariots and figures donated from China,Theres even a wax statue of the founder Well I hope its Wax ! The museum is in a nice setting located just beside a lake with plenty of free parking.
PS Dont forget to visit Buddha Mountain (Khao Chi Chan) its just down the road. its FREE
about 10 kilometres south down sukhumvit from pattaya they,ve recently opened a new road on the left,it should be sign posted ! but if not look out for Yangsamwaram,Well its something like that and you wont be far away.
