I booked this hotel through agoda.com and got a great price of $52. It's in the heart of Pattaya Beach area with tons of stuff to do surrounding the hotel from massages, to shopping malls, great restaurants and the beach is steps away. It's a little challenging for taxis to pull right up to the front door in the late afternoon because of the alley market right in front but my guy managed. I'll give a tip here: if you are coming from Bangkok use Mr. T's Taxi. Great service at a great price. He charges 1200 Bhat from city center including tolls and 1000 from BKK airport. His email is Mr_Ttaxi@hotmail.com He has several drivers and no charge for extra people.
I'm going to assume if you are coming to Pattaya you know what you are getting into! This is the New Orleans of Thailand. Yet, it's a close beach to Bangkok and you can relax here with great massages and good food while enjoying the ocean. And, if the seedy side of things is what you are into, you came to the right place. PLEASE, people, don't contribute to the exploitation of children and if you do, I hope you get caught and get what you gave in a Thai jail! Sorry for the bridge into the political but don't be an ugly tourist.

My room is plenty comfortable for two and there is great security here. The elevator won't work without your room card and any guest must have an ID and proof of age. Good for them for not contributing to sex trafficking of children. The front desk is really great. They place tries to have an urban chic feel to it that doesn't totally work but it's attractive enough. Step outside the door and you are into a street market. The breakfast buffet is pretty mediocre and not worth the 240 Bhat they ask if not included in your room rate. The Marriott Resort is about a block away where you can have a great breakfast (for a price) or go over to the beach and walk along in the morning or evening. For those inclined, Boyztown is about a block away with lots of bars and places to meet local and expat gay people. There is good massage at dirt cheap prices everywhere. Just go until you find the person best for you. Summary: very good hotel in a great location in a most interesting town!More
