this hotel is very clean, staff are very friendly and most of all for 1000 baht a night for bed and breakfast you are getting a first class service.there is a fabulous swimming pool there and you are based right in the centre of activity in Pattaya, i would highly reccommend this hotel as i have stayed there 6 times over the years, massage on request as the parlour is onsite, shooping is on your doorstep and really cheap when you haggle abit.

Room Tip: dont book till you get to the hotel as room bargaining is common

Walked in off the street to check prices , as I needed to find a place.

After a lot of hemming and hawiing and sighing in disgust , the staff lady showed me a brochure and I asked a few questions. She was clearly annoyed.

Then, I said "OK I'll book online" and one of the Staff shouted "OK, go ahead and book online" and it was not nice the way she said it.

Then as I was walking away 2 or 3 of the staff said some unpleasant things in Thai , I could tell, and I turned around and they glared at me with absolute hatred of the falang ( foreigner ) .

It was just rude, nasty, vile and pernicious. Not really typical of Thai hospitality.

I would not stay here if you gave me the room , free of charge. It's too bad that some are so disillusioned with their job that they take it out on potential customers.

I am sorry to see this , frankly. I hope mgmt takes notice of this review of my experience with the Eastiny staff.

Service desk doesn't speak English well. I was transferred from Eastiny Residence which is newer. The receptionist couldn't verify my reservation and then the email confirmation was never replied back. I didn't want to have nowhere to stay so I accepted their transfer. So I recommend email verification and email them few days ahead of time.

The room was old and needs remodeling. Ie. The old bathtub handle was missing with screws still sticking out. Closet is smelly. The floor tile has cracks. TV was CRT technology with about 10 channels repeated few times.

The price of quick snack was too expensive. Ie. A seafood noddle soup was only 50% of a normal portion but charged for 70 baht. I had to order a fried rice in order to be a full meal. Breakfast was enough but for some reason egg amulet and bread was put together, so the bread was soggy instead of toasty.

My better half and I chose this place based on previous reviews. The location is exactly in the middle of Pattaya Beach- soi 8 is 20 minutes walking from Walking streets, with massage salons, pick-a-bars, go-go clubs, 7-11 and rent-a-bike all near the hotel. The winds block 90% of the noise, so unless someone goes wild in the very corridors, the rest is undisturbed.
Breakfast is large, but unvarying- same sausages, veggies and 2 thai dishes every day. Tea cups are about 100ml in size- have to make 3 runs just to start the morning.
Also, this is the FIRST HOTEL EVER in Thailand that I've seen that doesn't offer complimentory water- not even the 2 bottles on arrival. Also, their advertizing about Airport transfer is a lie- it's not free or at a discount for tennants- its almost double in charge over what you can get if you walk to the next soi.
Wifi is only free in the bar/lobby. Everywhere else it's pay-per 5 hours. 300 bhat or so. Not too much but insulting.
Pool is open 10-17. Women have to wear caps. Don't have any?Buy them at the reception. Want a night swim- go to the beach. it's 2 minutes walk.
Back to the good news- they have deposit safes. Bad news- they are only at the reception, avilable 8-20 only. So, no dollars at the night.
Staff has very limited vocabulary in English and pretends to speak Russian. (Key word- pretends). One of the workers, a woman, is slow at the uptake, rude and loves lecturing on poor English about how she's right, even when she's trying to cover for her own stupidity. Rest of the staff are quite useful.
Have to complement them on one thing- the hotel spa isn't overpriced. Just pay 50 bhat over the street price and they'll bring the treatment to your room.
P.S.- they don't clean the room unless you hang the sign on the door- or after 16:00.
They allow outside "visitors"- for 450 bhat a "piece" (pardon my french).
All in all, room price is decent, but lots of ways to try and get more money from you. Average if you only come to the hotel to sleep off a party or a "boom-boom". Everything else- worthless.

Room Tip: Floor 7- the best rooms. Floors 3 and 4 have pool access so them might be noisy during operation hou...

The hotel is located on the beach road. Only 15 minutes of walk to walking street. The hotel has a nice pool, and the ocean view is fantastic.

This is a modest hotel, 3 stars, inexpensive. I have stayed here several times and found it consistently good.

The good
* Hotel is clean, good maid service, room is clean.
* Breakfast (included) is good. It is open until 11:00. Some Thai food and basic Western food, fresh local fruit, coffee. It is not lavish but quite acceptable for the price. Staff tries hard.
* Rooms are comfortable and reasonably sized. Everything works. Hot water, A/C. refrigerator. No carpet (tile floor). No room safe.
* Pool area is spacious and nice.
* Staff is nice, check/in out is efficient. Reservations system good.

Bad
* some rooms that face the street can be noisy as the music from the clubs comes through the thin doors
* I cant think of anything else bad, it is really a nice hotel for the money.

Overall, this is a nice basic hotel, nothing fancy. Service is good, staff is nice, breakfast is good. Price is reasonable. Good location. I will keep coming back.

Room Tip: Try to get one in the back to avoid teh late night music from nearby bars
