I visited this property after 7-8 yrs now.. and again was very disappointed. I can never think of going back again but this time it wasn't our choice as we went with office colleague ( office trip/ once a yr) and office was paying for it so ..
The hotel has been renovated but its still the same, beside the new LCD and no carpet. The staff out there don't know what is - service with smile, i guess as they are dealing with loads of Russians everyday so they have become more like Russians.. U will Russians throughout the year and they are more then 70%. They have 2 buildings - Tower & Park.
We stayed in Tower wing and it was seaview room.
If you are on budgeted holiday then its not bad but u can afford to pay a bit more then better stay some where else.
In the rooms there is no cupboard to keep your cloths..they have hangers and they have made wooden rails to hang your cloths on the walls. No amenities.. (v didn't really need any as we always carry ours while traveling) beside small bottle of shampoo, 2-3 small soaps and Tissues.
All the signs etc are mostly in Russia, bit and pc you can find in Thai as well as in English.
The Breakfast setup is huge and the food is not upto the mark. ..V were here for 2 nights and we only had breakfast 1 day and tht also rice porriage , bread and egg. The presentation of the food set up is like for the mass... for example : Sugar will be served in a big bowl next to tea and coffee area.
The hotel pool is ok which is on the 3rd floor and they have small kids pool on the side but the water park of the hotel is surely not clean, as we went late in the afternoon so we could see all the sands etc in the pool... Its huge with many water slides etc.
Recommend going in the morning itself when its still clean. I guess they are open around 0900 or 1000 hrs.
They charge Bht 100.00 p/adult or chd to enter water park and lot of the outsiders visit water park so u can understand the condition. U have to carry your own towels etc.. basically carry everything with u when u visit water park from money to toiletiers. U can't sign in to the room.
Waterpark is right on the beach... so good point of this hotel is tht they are on the beach.

The small theme park rides are ok... which can be enjoyed by the kids and teenagers. They have 8-9 rides which can be acitivites for the kids.. They sell as package of Bht 150.00 p/tkt, if you buy sepearately for all the rides it can be very expensive.
if you are hotel guests then they provide 2 water park tickets and 2 rides ticekts on complimentary basis for each night booked.
The hotel lobby, elevator and staircase to beach area... It smells really bad like there is no ventilation. Horrible !!

We were prepared that this hotel stay will not be pleasant one so nothing much was expected before hand.

I didn't stay here as a guest, only walked over the premises going to the beach and experienced the cable-cabinride The main hoteltower resembles a Sovjet-style concrete building. For Thai-design standards, it looks very ugly.
But there are many facilities in the park; there a many pools and waterslides and it very close to the Jomtien-beach. There are also some thrill-rides and a monorail. There is a cable-cabin going up-and-down from the 56th floor tower platform to ground level; during this ride you have a nice view.
Fine for a day visit but wouldn't stay here, there are plenty of better options.

Nice room, swimming pool small and dirty, the hotel is old and full of
Russian. Go to the Water Park just
next to the hotel, kids will love it.
I'll recommend this hotel only family with yound children.

We just returned from Pattaya Park Beach Resort-Pattaya. The room was booked through Asiatravel.com three months back. The room was booked through online. I was not sure how thing would go right as I booked the room through a third party!
When we reached Pattaya from Suvarnbhumi airport, it was almost 8.30 pm, the reception staffs took hardly two minutes to check in. Fortunately, we were upgraded to a family suit which was situated on the 24th floor. The panoromic view was excellent! The room contains two big rooms and two balconies.

We were vegeterian. The food that we got in the morning buffet breakfast was also excellent! There were plenty of varieties and food loving guy will enjoy like anything!

The pool is good. There are so many activities can be done with in the hotel. There are water park, rides etc though all you need to pay extra.

Overall, a very pleasant stay in Pattaya Park Beach Resort.

Only one shortfall: staffs are having little knowledge over English, niether they can express what you desire!!

Room tip: If you stay, try to book a room on tower wing and sea facing.
