“grand surrounding, attentive service”
Reviewed July 30, 2014

Somewhat Thai influenced nouvelle cuisine - extensive winelist - friendly service.

They made some mistakes regarding the general knowledge of their food and wine served, but made up for it by their friendly service.

One remark : the macaron with the coffee was so hard it was meant to be thrown away but not giving to eat. The thing is, these friendly waitresses do not have a clue about how a macaron should taste and feel in the mouth. But they should know that any cookie which is supposed to be tender, which you can reduce to "ashes" by crunching it between your fingers, should not be given...

But once again, overall experience : 5/5 - Thank you all !

“Mantra definitely # in Pattaya for residents living here”
Reviewed July 24, 2014

I've been based working near Pattaya for 3 years now. Part of my role is entertaining overseas customers, suppliers and colleagues, not to mention my wife and love a good meal out with friends. In Pattaya we're spoiled for choice, there's everything from great street food, sports pubs, pizza joints and brewery bars. All good stuff but wouldn't waste a few minutes writing a review.

Mantra is different, it's exceptional and as good an experience as you'll find anywhere in the world. There's a lot of attention to detail, which is a massive task considering the open cooking stations - Beijing duck, dim sum, sushi, sashimi, tandoori, open grill, and even a massive wood-fired pizza oven where they also bake off fresh bread - it's all laid out for you to see, and is visually stunning with the lighting and the deep red and teak-wood tones. It really is a stunning fit-out.

In my opinion the food is as good as it gets. My international guests often comment it's the best restaurant they've ever been. For that reason there's always a lot of regular guests at Mantra and it's popular for diners to drive all the way from Bangkok.

It's an epic experience. Awesome service. I'm very impressed every-time I visit.

“Big Restaurant”
Reviewed July 22, 2014

After a long trip to Pattaya, I went for a meal to Mantra. I was impressed by the size of the restaurant, extensive menu and good selection of wines. The food was good and the service great. It is located near the beach and within the best hotels in Pattaya (Holiday Inn and Amari) with a big car parking. Easy to reach by car or Tuk Tuk.

I will go back next week.

Complicated food stations, extremely high prices.. this is not for the faint hearted.. However, food was good and service excellent.

“A good reason to have a quiet Saturday night.”
Reviewed July 22, 2014

Why go to church on Sunday, go to gastronomic Heaven instead. Sunday brunch buffet at the Mantra is an absolute must for any foodie visiting Pattaya. Bring your appetite for taste pleasures from all over the planet. Chilled seafood to start, and then an avalanche of tasty offerings. Make certain to indulge totally and complement your meal with the wine buffet with quality wines from a variety of vineyards from 5 continents. Did not have room for the dessert bar, but it looked incredible. Spoil yourself and book in next Sunday. I will be there.
