Great to stop at, if you are enroute to other island areas, as you will only need about 20 minutes here. Worth a stop though to see the mummified monk, very creepy! But fascinating.

the temple was one of our coach stops for 10mins and that's all you need, the preserved monk had sunglasses on which made for a good photo. you could get blessed by a monk and there was a box full of different fortunes and you could take it with you which i thought was nice. the little temple beside the monk makes for nice photos.

Again another special place spoilt by mass tourism ,very disappointed , the temple which beautifully decorated is small , & is difficult for western s to understand what the objects mean without leaflets , signs , or a guide .

He is sitting in his glas cage, with sunglasses.
Next to this mummified monk, a real monk blesses guests.
We got blessed and have a yellow wrist band on now. Locals will get a white ????
We donated money to monks at this location.

We were touring and found this temple by chance. It was amazing to see this little shrunken body placed inside a glass case. The temple area was deserted when we arrived, so we pretty much had the place to ourselves to wander around. A great area to just take in the local feel.
