If you are looking for nightlife, full moon parties and shopping till you drop, then Enchanted Hills is not for you, if you are looking for privacy, luxury, scenery and a more personal holiday then it is. We stayed there for a week with our two boys aged 1 and 5, grandparents and the boy's uncle. The main body of the house is a two bedroom house which was perfect for Mum Dad and the boys, the Uncle and Grandparents stayed in the guest wing (all with ensuites) which meant they werent woken up at the crack of dawn by our busy boys. The pool was a dream come true in the hot season, the views were to die for, short distance from some amazing restaruants, dont miss The Farmer restaruant set in rice fields near by. You do need your own transport here but that only means you actually get out and explore the island to make the most of everything and dont get pigeon holed into one beach, one resort, one set of restaurants. We did a lot of exploring and mangaged to see real Thai life away from the tourist traps. We hired chefs to cook for us one night whilst we celebrated the husbands 40th birthday the food was amazing and what a way to end our day after zooming around the nearby islands on a boat cruise.
The worst thing about Enchanted hills was leaving. I would recommend this place in a heart beat.
