“Nice authentic Thai food”
Reviewed January 10, 2014

Authentic Thai cuisine here with all the normal dishes and more.

Casual and friendly atmosphere but not a backpacker place.

“run by friendly, professionally people”

Our dinner at Nuch's Green Ta'lay was the best meal in Samui. It was worth the long drive from Chaweng Noi Beach to Thong Krut.

“Fabulous new year dinner”
Reviewed December 31, 2013

Where other restaurants were trying to extract every last baht on New Year's Eve with compulsory fixed menus at inflated prices, Nuch's Green Ta'lay opened it's friendly doors with no surcharge, but did go the extra mile with choice, quality, friendliness, and service. A thoroughly delicious meal of fabulous and unique Thai food followed by home made treats, including apple pie and local ice cream. A good wine selection too.

“Great food, atmosphere, prices”
Reviewed December 29, 2013

We were staying at the Conrad Koh Samui and upon recommendations of many reviewers at Tripadvisor and Flyertalk, we decided to drive the 5 minutes to this little gem. The food was amazing and I wish we had longer to stay so we could come back again. The owner came over to talk with us after our meal and wished us well on the rest of our trip. This is a must-visit restaurant on Samui.

One small negative: Does not accept credit cards. Keep that in mind and make sure you bring Baht (although don't expect to use much of it).

“Hidden Gem”
Reviewed December 16, 2013

During our 1-week visit to Koh Samui, we dined at Nuch's Green Ta'lay restaurant 3 times and each time, we were treated to a scrumptious meal.

The steamed fish and chicken green curry were the stand-out dishes!

Service was great and we met the owner who was a very friendly and sociable man. To top it off, the prices were highly affordable - almost to the point where you'd be enticed to over order in a cheeky attempt to try as many dishes as you can!

The restaurant is located on a quiet street in Taling Ngam so it is not in the heart of the island, but it is still relatively easy to get to. Coincidentally, we were staying in the area so we were able to become regulars that week.
