With so many options available - and every one delicious - its so easy to miss out on the hidden treasures.

For instance the baby squid stuffed with pork and glass noodles with ginger. Absolutely divine.

To find your favourite there is only one option, go many times it's worth it

We stayed at the nearby Conrad hotel back in March 2012 and although it was pricey to get to this restaurant by taxi it was well worth it, the food was excellent and the owner David a great guy, my husband and Are big foodies and just lived every meal we ate here, we even pre-ordered market fish at David's recommendation which was cooked to perfection. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, especially to those staying at the Conrad. Just faultless. Thanks David! Took me a while to write this but better late than never :)

A group of six of us, staying at the nearby Conrad hotel, made the 5 minute car ride to the Green Ta'lay. Its easy to find, and during the day, the nearby beach front is one of the prettiest views on Koh Samui.

The food was very well prepared and reasonably priced.

The service was informative (if not verging on a little too conversational and familiar) and attentive.

It's hard to fault the Green Ta'lay in terms of what it claims to offer, which is very well cooked, local and fresh Thai food. Its well deserved to be in the top 10 restaurants on the island, and is recommended.

We stayed at the Conrad and tried this restaurant for dinner one night. We paid 500 bahts for the Conrad to drive us there and pick us up, but it was worth it. The food was good Thai food and we ordered two appetizers and two drinks for each of us. Our total bill was approx. 1200 bahts for two appetizers, two entrees, and four cocktails plus waters (about $37).

The service was excellent and we would have gone a second time if we had more nights at the Conrad. Also this restaurant is closed on Monday. Definitely should go here if you're in the Conrad or nearby hotels.

We had dinner here one night since we were staying at the Conrad nearby and wanted to get out of the resort a bit. The waiter and staff were very friendly and casual. The food was also great. The green curry was spicy but delicious. All in all a great option if you're on that side of the island.
