I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. I have been to the brand ‘s other properties before. I have to say this is the best room they did so far. The hotel is beautiful with great service. Breakfast is great though not as many choices as the one in Yao noi but the quality is excellent. The experience of having to cross over the sea to the small island by boat (which you can also walk if the tide is low) makes it more special and felt cut off from the busy Cheongmon beach. I would definitely go back

This is a brand new small exclusive hotel with only 22 Villas and 1 2-bedrooms Residence on a private island just off Samui.

Accessible only by small boat or cute “truck”, one can also walk across when the tide is low. Very homely atmosphere with great details in the decorations and services, the hotel isn’t fully opened yet, so the food choice is still limited. Although one can’t see the sun actually setting, but the colors are just breathtaking.

My partner and I spent three days and two nights on the private island and everything was perfect from the moment we got picked up at the airport until the moment we unfortunately had to leave. It was our first time going to the Samui area so the room rate including transportation to and from the airport was a huge plus when you are tired from flying and don’t want to deal with the usual hassle from airport taxis. The location is great and to our surprise, the website pictures were actually accurate and not overly photoshopped like you usually see with Hotels. We stayed in the Ocean View Pool Villa and we couldn’t believe how close we were to the actual ocean! The atmosphere was surreal, apart from the ocean waves, it felt like we were alone on the island, not a sound of human activity. The Villas were spacious and comfy with modern décor and nothing over the top or tacky. Also, we are big book readers, so being able to sit and read in a different spot with a beautiful view was a treat we were not expecting. We didn’t leave the room much, but the one time we ate at one of the hotel restaurants called The Crest it was lovely, elegant setting and surprisingly good food. It’s our experience that some hotel restaurants try too hard to be creative with their cuisine, but the dishes we had at The Crest were modern and tasted quite well. The staff were superb, very friendly and always around when you need them; our bathroom light was flickering when we had it on, so we called the front desk and they sent a staff down straight away with a ladder and light bulb and replaced it. A lot of times you get hotel staff that are a little over bearing and always looking to adjust something or ask if you want more of a certain item, and that can be too much in our opinion. All in all, a great experience and delightful time at Cape Fahn, we are looking forward to returning.
