Description: Since 2005 David Anichowski opened the Duke’s the first American restaurant by the Ping River in Chiang Mai.David Anichowski loves to eat great food and have a good time with family and friends, it is slogan is “No claims…No Games…Just Great food” A lot of hard work has provided Great food, Great service and Great prices to the customer of the Duke’s The Duke’s sells a lot of fresh beef; we only use imported Australian meat for our steaks, and we buy a lot of products directly from Bangkok. All of our sauces, breads, soups, dressings and cakes are made fresh daily and we cook to order. The American-style food is served in a family-friendly atmosphere The Duke’s has 5 outlets in Chiang Mai and Lamphun, Ping River, Maya Shopping Mall, Night Bazaar, Promenade Mall and Jampha Mall in Lamphun.

When you've had enough of the delicious Thai food available all over the city and are dying for a little western food, head to The Dukes. This attractive restaurant has great A/C and their own pizza oven where they make the most delicious pizzas ever. In addition they make home made foccacio bread in there that is great. We also had the pork ribs which were meaty and abundant and the ceasar salad which was really good (not too anchovyish which I had in other restaurants around town). The hamburger was large an juicy with a good portion of fries and just about as good as any western restaurant serves. All in all, the prices are a little less or in line with the price of restaurants with that fare back home, so a good value for what you get.

This is a busy place that has good service and provides good quality (but not great) western style food. Good steaks and ribs. A nice place to spend some time with friends and enjoy a cool drink.

Nice interior, many screaming toddlers :-(, no background music
The food was acceptable to good but nothing to come close to "wow".
Our appetizers were served after 20 min and our main course after 22 minutes, 15 minutes later we received the salads which suppose to come with the main course.
As a result our appetizers turned cold and went to waste :-(
We received an apology for their hiccup and a free beer and glass of wine, our kids nothing but that maybe normal as they not pay for it but the bottom-line is that the appetizers were theirs.
As expected it was very busy and we did telephone for a booking which was good organized and we had our table as we arrived :-)
Summary:
nothing special about this place unless you like screaming kids and messed up servings of your orders.
