Our 12 year old daughter was in heaven. She had so much fun getting to know the cats. Just wish we'd left her there while we checked out the nearby insect museum, then she could have stayed longer. The food and drinks were also surprisingly good!

Great numbers of purebred cats really well maintained, still the drink and food is very expensive not only for the Thai standard but even in any Western country, on top of it a bit more of friendly customer service would be good

We just popped in to the Catmosphere Cat Cafe as we were getting a computer repair done at the Mac Cafe next door.

We were excited to see this next door as this was on my son’s to do list.

The problems start when you walk in. It smells SO bad. We have cats ourselves but this was a strange smell that was quite overwhelming. We couldn’t imagine sitting there for an hour trying to have a snack, so had to leave.

For 100 baht per person (or you must order something - all of which is 97 baht and above!) it’s pricey with a bad smell. As the lady who works there even told us there are three other cat cafes in town, so we will check into one of those!

Very nice in here and you can actually get to play with and pet the cats. They also serve really nice drinks too

My wife and I went to Catmosphere, and we were not disappointed! The cat-to-human ratio makes it a bit surreal - it's a bit like you've entered an alternate cat universe.

They definitely take care of the cats here. It's a bit of a process just to get into the place - you take off your shoes, then wash your hands, then purel, and *then* you can go in.

Oh, and you need to have a staff member open the door because there's no airlock and kitties could easily escape. There's a sign on the door, but that didn't stop one guy from trying (in vain) to yank it open himself. Just wait patiently and the staff will come and open the door for you.

It's not big, about 8 tables, and there are no chairs - you sit on pillows on the floor. The staff give you an English menu (~95 baht for a capuccino). If you don't want to order, you have to pay 100 baht/hour just to be there. Hey, they have 20+ cats to feed you know!

You're not allowed to pick up the kitties, but you can beckon them onto your table or your lap, and there are some toys around so you can play with them. They're really cute and really soft, and it was a lot of fun hanging out there.

The "Catmosphere" theme is fully embraced, by the way. The "catstronauts" have space-themed names like "Yoda" and "Leia" and there are space-cat-movie-spoof posters on the walls. You can buy a T-shirt or a postcard if that kind of thing tickles your fancy.

Everyone at the cafe gets a bottle of water, so don't leave without yours!

When we went we took a songtaew to Maya mall, and then walked from there which took about 10 minutes. Way cheaper than a tuk-tuk.

All in all, Catmosphere was a great place for a fun coffee, and the cat-factor was through the roof. Highly recommended!
