If you go to Chiang Mai this is the place to stay. It's just out of the main city but close enough to walk in 10 minutes. The laundry lady just down the ally is amazing so would recommend going there as oppose to having the hotel do it for you. Cheap at 60 baht per kilo. Rooms are clean and the breakfast has a lot of selection, including eggs any way.

We had a great three nights in this hotel. It is just really well run, clean and charming hotel. We had a huge family room, with a big bathroom. It felt like a little oasis from the frenetic big city. Couldn't fault it.

The Good:
All the Staff were very polite, friendly and helpful – the customer service was excellent – smiling faces at all times – exactly what you need when you’re on holiday
Family room was large, clean and spacious
Free airport transfers and on time
Free WiFI for the duration of our stay
We had breakfast daily, 1 lunch and 1 dinner - food in the restaurant was good – a small breakfast selection (but it is a small boutique hotel so not an issue), no other issues and good value
Swimming pool – good for a cool down after a long day out
Staff happily arranged for taxis when we required them and picked us up at the hotel

The Bad: Minor points really
Last order for food in the restaurant is 9.30pm. We were lucky that we were not affected by this – we got back once from a day trip at 9.15pm so just made it. If we hadn’t, after a long day out we would have had to go looking for food.
Need more towel rails in the bathroom (there was only 1) as we had 4 people and so 4 bath towels plus hand towels to hang up – a bit difficult with only 1 towel rail
WiFi disconnects if your Smartphone locks or is idle but was not a major issue

Info:
This hotel has won several Tripadvisor awards and well deserved
The comments about the alley referred to in other reviews are pretty accurate, there is no lighting, used by mopeds/scooters as a short cut. If you are going to use it after dark use your phone torch app

Overall Comments:
Very happy with the hotel, staff, rooms and facilities
If I am in Chiang Mai again I will definitely consider booking this hotel again

My hotel Recommendations:
Check the Wifi issue with disconnects
Install more towel rails

Such a great hotel. Location is great -
Quiet and secluded area with access to main attractions within 10-15 min walk. Also have bikes available which are great as the city is easy to get around with bikes. Rooms clean, spacious with good light (open air concept). Staff are friendly and welcoming and very helpful (booked us an elephant tour, provided towels for us too). If (when) we come back to Chiang mai, we are staying here. Best hotel on our four city trip (Bangkok, Phnom Penh, siem reap).
