3 Rd visit in 5 years, each one gets better, lovely staff super food and ab fab rooms ! What more can you ask for the answer is the area is lovely but come in February and you can see the flower festival at its best. The staff are excellent as are the rooms and nothing is to much for them to make your stay the best in Thialand. The food is awesome, with a great selection at breakfast to set you up for a good tour of the area. Travel light and use the laundry service each night, so cheap it's unreal, laundry comes back as if you have just bought it in the town ! Already to book for next year.

Room Tip: Have stayed in 3 rooms over 5years and as we visit with friends each time, have seen most rooms all...

As noted above. Everything about this place, from the location. through the relaxed and fulsome breakfast, through to little things like the constant refreshing of the towels around the poolside lounge chairs was perfect. Nothing was difficult to ask for and get almost immediately. We borrowed the DVDs, an iron and ironing board, organised a private trip to some sights, catered for my wife's vegetarianism at breakfast, went for spur of the moment swims, and relaxed on the pool lounges.
We could have stayed well beyond the 5 days we had here!

Great service- the staff bent over backwards. And we loved the location, hidden in the neighborhood away from the fray but close to a bridge to walk to restaurants etc. the hotel has lots of charm and ambiance. Bkes are fun too. They made my vegan husband custom/ fresh breakfast every morning. ( Regular breakfast is great too!) don't hesitate to book here.

Rimping village was the highlight of our 3 week trip around Thailand. The staff were by far the most friendly and efficient we came across and they made us feel very well looked after. Their English was also very impressive! The resort is located on a quiet side street and is about a 10 min walk to the night bazaar across the river. Also 5 mins from the hotel we discovered a brand new western supermarket that has a better selection of food than many in New Zealand. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to all.

The hotel staff were extremely friendly & helpful. It was located in a very convenient area - very peaceful & a short walk away from all the action.
The breakfast buffet was tasty & again, the staff would do anything for you.
The pool however is absolutely freezing & only one side gets the sun. This is only a minor drawback & you just have to jump in quickly!
Would definitely recommend as a great value, lovely place to stay with excellent service. The hotel transfers are also organised for you with great ease & a very affordable price tag.

We stayed here as a family of two adults and two teenagers on our way to the hill tribes north of Chiang Mai in August for four nights and we were delighted to see that the staff of this friendly and authentically Thai hotel had won this Best Service award for 2013. This was defintely our exeperience. They greeted us warmly as we arrived. They remembered what we ate and they just seemed to enjoy making a difference to our holiday experience. As a family who often dine out in London, we actually felt that we had never experienced this level of genuine care at a hotel before (not even at The Dorchester!). Richly deserved and woudl definitely recommend it to fellow travellers! Thank you for making our family holiday so much fun and making us feel special!

Chose this hotel due to the great reviews on Tripadvisor. Although it's not right smack in the center of the city, the location is still very convenient. A short walk across the bridge brings you to the area of the night market and around the corner is the Rimping Supermarket with a good mix of Thai and imported products. Their fruit section had a lot of candied fruits that we brought home as gifts as well as instant Thai iced tea mix (yumyum). We decided to eat some of our meals at the hotel restaurant as the senior citizens in our group were tired from sightseeing. The prices were still very reasonable with large servings. The service was excellent as per the other reviews. When the staff found out about Mum's birthday, they gave her a small cake with a card, which really thrilled her. They also easily arranged for our driver/tour guide for 2 day trips for a very good price. The room and bathroom were spacious - we were in a deluxe. The celadon bathroom tiles were fascinating. They had daily complimentary fresh fruit and water daily. This was much better than staying at a generic international hotel chain...cheaper, too.
