The best thing about this hotel has to be the location. It's right at the side (behind) the night bazaar so really ideal.
The hotel itself has a really impressive lobby for the money, which has a big trick on the eyes thinking it's a nice clean hotel. You then get your keys and enter the 'time warp' lift. Soon as you leave the first two floors, you exit back in the 80's. Awfully lit corridors that have red stains on the walls, peeling wallpaper and broken fixtures.
The rooms are actually decent, we stopped in floor 7 and 8 and both of the rooms were fine for the price. Air con worked, not great but worked. It was clean and the beds were comfy. Views are nothing spectacular. Hotel websites from the UK claim balcony, this isn't true. There's no balconies.
The pool is nice, feels like there's too much chemicals in though. Don't expect to catch much sun though as the pool is built in a poor location and only catches the first few hours of the day.
The breakfast is sub-par. Decent selection but nothing amazing. Hotdog sausages, cereal, toast and fried eggs were the only thing really unless you wanted rice for breakfast. Coffee and juice were refreshing though.
Staff were really accommodating and after we checked out early to catch a flight, the flight was cancelled, they let us check back in on the same reservation! Perfect!
It's worth noting that the wifi is poor. It's usable if you want to quickly check something but will become frustrating for long usage.
Would recommend this for anyone who is on a budget and wanting a good location with a clean room. Don't expect anything extra though!!

It located at startegic area to roam around the shopping & night market area.
however, the weak & constant breakdown on WIFI connection spoiled the stay.
If you need a firm pillow you gotta persistantly request or the housekeeper might ignore your request.
Thank you for your value comments, and will have our IT to look after the WiFi system to be more improve in the future, also will have more training to our room attendance of courtesy service skill. Krub.

I paid for 3 nights, checked-out after 2 nights because the room and breakfast was so bad. Room 801, which was a superior room, is not worth anything. Torn peeling wall paper, mold on the grout in bathroom, furniture is chipped and scratched, carpet is soiled, shower curtain was torn and moldy.
Hallways on the 8th floor are disgraceful. Walls are scratched heavily, wall paper is peeling off, carpets are soiled. Dirty sheets in the hallway.
Breakfast was a buffet, but all the food that was supposed to be hot was cold. 90% of the food was Thai style. Only western food was coffee, cold fried eggs. I did eat it and I did not get sick.
Lots of hot water, which is centrally heated. AC and TV worked.
I booked through Agoda this superior room. Their website gave the option to request 1 large bed for a superior room. There are NO superior rooms in this hotel that have one large bed, they all have 2 small twin beds.
This is the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in.
Thank you for your valueable comments, and please accept our sincerest apologies for the dismay caused. The mentioned matters have been addressed with our executive team to considering. Just to inform that for a bit poor of the room condition and equipments, which we do have a plan to renovation by soon.

Hotel is 2 minuts from nightmarket. The lobby is ok, but the rooms need a update. The carpet was dirty and the bathroom is only clean at the front, if look behind the sink or toiletbowl it's never been cleaned. The wall in the bathroom is dirty and the curtain is molded, the shower head is for small people you can't stand strait under it to catch some water. The corridor to the rooms is also dirty and dark and the starcase was the carpot wornout. Breakfast is poor and the staff not really friendly.
Thank you for your value comments, please accept our sincerest apologies for the dismay caused. The mentioned matters have been addressed with our executive team and we can assure you of no further mishap of this kind.

Picked last minute, hotel lobby was nice but our room was dirty and run down. Night bazaar was right out the back door of hotel which was convienient -- lots of food options. Had to squat to shower and bathroom smelled like sewage. The wifi was very slow and only allowed two simultaneous connections. Got free breakfast, which had a great buffet selection.
Thank you for your value comments, regarding to room condition which was quite old property and we have the plan to renovate soonest, also will address to our IT for maximize device of WiFi connection in the future.
