After a long day of driving, hiking, and sight seeing, the Touch Star Resort was a very welcomed sight. Tucked back off the main road, but well marked and easy to get to, the resort offered very clean and comfortable rooms at a very reasonable price (1200 Baht, off-season, including breakfast) Be forewarned that it is very difficult to have to leave this place in the morning. The staff is so lovely, the landscape is just breathtaking. The Touch Star Resort feels like a peaceful home away from home.

Room tip: There is a rippling creek behind the small bungalows which is lovely to sleep to. However, if running water is not your idea of a peaceful sleep, the A/C drowns out the sounds very well.

I cam to stay here for one night and wait to go up to Doi-Inthanon in the next morning. I won't expected much for this resort because i though it's just resort in rural side out of town. But when we came here and stay for one night, it's more than we expected for accommodation, facilities and services.
I love that they provided for FREE-WIFI because i'm just addicted to Facebook, can't live without it.
Here is quite and beautiful view and i think here is the best resort in this area.

I stayed at this resort on the New Year and a lovely resort with a relaxed atmosphere described. Impression that the resort has many activities to do so. Beautiful Gardens!!! surrounded with the green!!! Nature made my family enjoyed the atmosphere of the culture of northern Thailand experience.

I love this place and will definitely visit again.

Room tip: Single Cottage is the best choice for tranquillity.

We stayed at a Swiss cottage at this resort for 2 nights. When booking this place online we expected a nice room at a quality resort with mountain views on the basis of photos provided on the resort's website.
What we got was a cheap hut made of plywood in a cluster of other such huts without any views to speak of and the spaces between huts being only a few meters. Our 'cottage' shared a wall with another one and we could hear every word that our neighbours said because the sound insulation was none. The room had an antiquated TV set without any international channel. A single low wattage bulb hanging from the ceiling provided very dim lighting. No wardrobe. In the bathroom there was no bathtub and the shower was separated from the rest of the bathroom by a low height half-wall size partition with the passage in between without a door or a curtain. So when one took a shower water splashed far beyond the shower area. Electric shower was clearly modified so that the water temperature did not rise above certain low level. In cold season when we were there one could hardly describe such temperature as hot.
We prepaid buffet breakfast which turned out to be very limited and mainly oriented at Thai customers. BTW, most of the guests staying at the resort were Thais with families. The resort restaurant is only open for breakfast and buffet dinner a night. Dinner buffet is again mainly spicy Thai food. The only other options for eating out are located along the main highway quite a distance from the resort.
The resort is located in a valley at some distance to the Doi Intanon park mountains so it is definitely not a mountain resort and one can only see glimpses of the far-off mountain ranges that mark a start of the park. The climate at the resort is basically the same as in Chiang Mai, hot during the day and cool at night. The resort is in the middle of a village and to get to it one has to drive a long unsealed and unlit narrow bumpy lane between houses that leads from the main road to the gate of the resort. You would not want to walk there at night.
The room was not cleaned between the nights we stayed at the resort and the bedsheets were not changed either.
We paid around $60 per night for our accommodation including breakfast. A fair price would be $30 maximum.

Please apologized for inconvenience that you got while stayed with us at resort and thank you for your comments. Please kindly let me explain for misunderstood for made you disappointed.
First, let me start with mountain view, only Swiss Chalet only that you can see mountain view from room but for single cottage, Swiss cottage and deluxe room you can have for garden view.
Secondly, cable TV for now we already have international cable TV, sorry again for those period due to under-construction.
Thirdly, for electric shower we set up as standard electric shower which can not do anything with temperature level.
Fourthly, for buffet all of our food menu based on Thai food style which can be very spicy for foreigner but you can ask our cooker for decrease hot and spicy flavored.
Finally, our resort located in rural area that far away from town and we focus for natural scenery which you can enjoy in here. Which can not compare to hotel in the town. You can be sure that this is the best resort in this area. For all your comments, we thank you so much which can be very useful for us to improve our service at resort.

Best Regards,
Suwipa Jarutikorn
