The prices are great at this hotel, the location just so-so. It is about a 400 meter walk to the edge of the ancient city, but actually quite a hike to the night bazaar or any of the interesting temples, etc. This forces you into tuk-tuks and taxis who are generally intent on ripping off tourists.
We booked a Studio Suite consisting of two rooms, living room and bedroom advertised as 64sqm. It was so small I measured it and found it was closer to 40sqm. Two tiny rooms, which were dark, and one of which had a malfunctioning air-conditioner. After a couple of complaints and a couple of visits from the maintenance department, I finally complained loud enough to be moved to another room. They put in in a Superior room, which was MUCH nicer, though advertised at a cheaper price. On arrival, ask to see a few rooms.
The breakfast was fine, the pool was lovely and the staff here are delightful. It is a real bargain for the price (once you find the right room).More
