Owner description: A family run cooking class established in 2001. We began with a small class size. Even though our business has seen tremendous growth, we have decided that this size maintains the personalization and individual attention that each student deserves. Yui (Siripen Sriyabhaya), Thailand's international TV chef still teaches every dish in every class to guarantee the highest quality of instruction. Her expertise attracts a variety of students such as, TV chefs, executive chefs, culinary school teachers, international Thai cooking instructors, food columnists, cookbook authors, tourists, and food lovers.Yui's unique blend of art and science truly make cooking exciting, fun, and easy to follow. When students cook these delicious dishes in class, they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to be able to recreate these dishes at home.

“Highly Recomended !”
Reviewed October 26, 2012

I love Thai food and was a little disappointed on a previous course in Phuket, but having spent a very full day learning to cook various dishes I was most impressed and feel ready to tackle some Thai cooking when I return home!

The presentation of the course was very informative and aimed at all levels, Chef Yui's love for cooking, experience and her knowledge was passed to the group with helpful tips to make the most of Thai cooking!

The cookbook given out is of high quality and not the copies hand stapled that you receive in some cook schools. A very happy experience !

Chef Yui was very skilled and practical. We had a great deal of fun, but also came away feeling much more comfortable with Thai cooking techniques.

“Fun and informative”
Reviewed October 20, 2012

I've done cooking classes in Thailand before where they don't tell you much about the history of the food or how dishes have evolved over time. This school was fun, casual and informative. The facilities were good and Yui the teacher was not only skilled but also entertaining.

“Loved it!”
Reviewed October 11, 2012 via mobile

Really enjoyed it. Great value for money. You get taken there and back.
It's a really relaxed environment, with just a small class of 8, homely but very clean and efficient, all cookware is good.
Yui explains everything really easily and gives lots of useful information.
I learnt a lot of interesting facts to take home with me.
Would really recommend for a fun day.

“Amazing Experience .... totally recommended!”
Reviewed October 4, 2012

We went on a full day cooking course with Alot of Thai. We were picked up from our accommodation and taken to Yui's home for the days events. Yui is very welcoming and we had a fantastic day learning all about Thai cuisine and cooking tips. Yui is very knowledgeable and has an incredible love for thai food which just shines through! It was the best thing we done in Chiang Mai and highly recommended! Don't even consider the other cooking courses on offer just sign up for Alot of Thai, you wont be disappointed!!
