A quiet retreat outside the city. Lovely grounds, spacious rooms, friendly staff, and good food.
We booked a Deluxe Room and requested to have a view of the river. When we arrived they upgraded our room to a Superior Room upstairs and we had a lovely view of the pool and river below. Clean sheets and towels. They also have free wi-if and you're given two bottles of water a day. If needed there is also laundry service provided for a fee.
There are two shuttles they travel to the city: one at 10:30am and one at 6:00pm. The shuttle in the morning typically drops off at the Ta Phae Old City Gate and the one in the evening drops most off at the Night Bazaar. (You can pay an additional 50baht to be dropped off at a different location on the way into town, like Nimahemmin Road or Riverside.)
Breakfast is nice. A combination of a buffet and a few items to order.
It's a little ways north of town, but that didn't really both us much. Overall it's just a really quiet, pleasant place. If we're ever back in Chiang Mai, we'll almost definitely stay here again.More
