Just stepping into the lobby serenity sweeps over you, and the hustle and bustle of the city stays out on the street. The lobby is large and open air with the soothing sound of a wall water falls and a quiet lounge area where foot massages can be arranged with the front desk and are a must do.
The rooms in the vacation lodge are large, very clean and well appointed. It is a walk up, but the top third floor was no problem. The attached restaurant looked out at the beautiful temple across the street and was perfect for breakfast, start your day with fruit and yogurt and self serve coffee or tea. The Sunday night market runs right in front of the restaurant, couldn't be any better. The staff were very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

3 Sis is a great place to stay and the staff are brilliant, especially the guy who works at night. He was really amazing and incredibly helpful. The girls booked our elephant trip to 'Chang Siam' which was brilliant and also a cooking class at 'Basil' which was fantastic, we were the only two in the class - you have to do it there rather than one of the bigger places!

For breakfast you have to pick an option from a menu each morning, however none of the options looked that interesting, we always just went for fresh fruit which was fine. The lounge area was really beautiful and great to chill out in. Nice large and clean room and a great shower room with lovely products. Sunday night market right on the doorstep was great! We went to Riverside for a meal on the advice of the girls and it didn't disappoint. Live music, great atmosphere and my partner said that the Penang curry was "the best meal he's EVER had"!

We arrived about four hours before the check in time an were unsure of what to do seeing it was our first time in Thailand. But we shouldn't have worried. The staff were super friendly ad sat us down with a map and told us some great sights to see and a delicious resistant to visit and assured us that we will be placed in our rooms ASAP. Our room was on the 3rd story which meant it was a bit of a hike up the stairs but getting into out nice spacious(and airconed) room was worth it. The hotel is directly in the middle of old chiang mai and yet it was so peacefull. The staff helped out so much with activities for us to do and they always had a smile on their faces as we walked in and wanting to know what adventures we have been up to. The breakfast is mediocre but in the end the other factors of this hotel shadow that completely!

The great location in old city is just one of these reasons for this excellent accomadation. Right opposite to Wat Chedi Luang, Wat Phan Tao and Sunday Night Market is in front. Quite new building. Lobby is very artistic and authentic oriental design. Room is tidy and clean with a contemporary bathroom. No phones in the room (which is great!). Staffs are really friendly and helpful, especially Miss Pong Pong and Mr X who helped me alot in finding local food, drinks and understooding local culture more. Strongly recommend if you are looking for place to stay in Chiang Mai.

Beautiful rooms, delicious smoothies, breakfast was so so, and right by the gorgeous chedi temple and Saturday walking market! Rooms have air con, there is a lending library, and you can walk to the Night Bazaar although we don't mind walking all over the city so it might be far for someone else but there are always tuk tuks.

From the moment we saw the photos of the 3Sis on their website we had already very high expectations , what we didn't expect was that our expectations would be exceeded ... which they where. Our train from Bangkok was 2 hours late on arriving into Chiang Mai at night so we got to 3 Sis feeling a mixture of exhaustion and very hungry. Before check in the kind receptionist showed us how to get to a nice nearby restaurant and minded our heavy bags until we came back to check in . The room was so beautiful and elegant , the food delicious , the location perfect and the architecture elegant and sophisticated ( I really liked the wooden balcony and the water features that hush a calming charm into the open foyer). Unanimously the greatest problem with this hotel is the bed : it is too comfortable that makes it hard to leave the secluded room. We even changed our travel plans and booked an extra night in Chiang Mai as this hotel impressed us so much. The A/C is very quiet and the tv has a good range of channels in English as well as Thai. The 3 Sis has loads of charms ; a place for the independent traveler to meet other travelers , a place for couples and small children with play spaces and facilities nearby, as a couple it was romantic and cozy but if I would return with my female friends for a girlie holiday we would have just the best time as well. I would also like to recommend the Hot Chilli restaurant which is less than 5 minutes walk from the 3 Sis for its great food and drinks.

Room Tip: Couples should request a double bed with views of the old town.

Very pleasant with cafe attached. Big open air sitting area but bring the insect repellant for this area. Free wi fi in rooms and internet in common area. Staff are very helpful. Room has cable tv fridge hair dryer. 2 bottles of water each day. Hot water fine if you run the shower for a long time. AC. Safe. No hot water over the hand basin, however. No elevator so request ground floor if you have mobility problems. Breakfast set menu - cooked or continental. 7 eleven a few doors away, good restaurant few doors away.
Loved the banana roti prepared by a street vendor outside the hotel each night.

Room Tip: There is a same day laundry a few doors from the hotel
