My 2 girlfriends and I were staying at Puripunn for 3 nights. It's a wonderful stay with local Chiang Mai experience.

It took only 20 min travel from airport to the hotel. On the way, I was getting worried about its location as the taxi entered narrow, dark and quiet path. Luckily, just around the corner, I saw a pavilion top and many light bulbs hanging on trees. That's it, my lovely Puripunn appear in front of me!

We were welcomed by warm greetings and a cool drink in such a hot weather. We checked in quite late and were wondering how to get into the city centre for late dinner. Thanks to the free flow Tuk Tuk service (i.e. till 10:45pm) , we could get out easily anytime. As the path is quite small, it's highly recommended to take Tuk Tuk back hotel.

3 of us were staying at Puripunn Deluxe adding one extra bed. The room still got some spaces to move around. What impressed me most was the bathroom area. Perfect shower and bathtub!!

Another highlight of the stay was the breakfast. Free breakfast serves from 7-10:30am every morning. The food quality and variety didn't cause any disappointment! It keeps the luxury claim!

On the last day, we reserved Spa as our farewell treatment. Traditional Thai massage was chosen. The 90 minute journey brought me to dream. And their flexibility allows late check-out so that we could enjoy our spa without any rush!

Overall, it's a luxury stay with reasonable price. Their quality reflects in every detail from decoration to tablewear, from environment to friendly staff. It's an exotic yet homey experience.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the hotel for three days. Extremely romantic. Paradise Island in the noisy city. the stuff had great ideas where to go and what is a good price to pay. The location is 15 mins walk from the main night bazaar of Chiangmai, so the location is nice as well.
The shower is awsome!! Big room with a shower for 2, as well as a tab. fresh flowers all over the room everyday.

We had a last minute change of schedule and the hotel was flexible enough to help us and cancel if another person will book the room (luckily for us someone did).

Nothing less than amazing.

Room Tip: It is highly recommended to take the rooms by the pool.

My husband and I stayed at Puripunn during our two week honeymoon in Thailand. It was our favorite hotel of the entire trip. Everything was perfect from start to finish and everyone at the hotel was able to maintain the highest quality of service. The room was perfect and clean. The bed was comfortable and huge! Our favorite part was the bathroom. The stand up shower, gigantic tub and chaise were divine. The traditional lanna wood gave the room such an elegant feel. I love how housekeeping left small flowers on our bed everytime they cleaned our room.

The hotel is a short ride away from the main strip in Chiang Mai. They offer a complimentary tuk tuk service after 3 pm. In my opinion, it was just close enough and far enough from the craziness of downtown Chiang Mai. Oh, and do try the free breakfast. The eggs were super yummy and the coffee was super strong. We miss you, Chiang Mai!

Room Tip: First floor rooms are close to the pool.

We have now had several stays at Puripunn over the years and every time it manages to surprise and delight us with its absolute quality. Everything about the hotel is exceptional and everyone seems to be able to maintain the highest quality of service time after time. This hotel provides a perfect oasis from the busy city but is within easy walking distance of the night markets and a wide selection of restaurants.
Our thanks to everyone for another fabulous stay.

My husband and I stayed at Puripunn during our 2 week honeymoon in Thailand and absolutely loved our accommodations and overall stay in Chiang Mai. The hotel grounds are cozy but beautiful, with a breathtaking open lobby and a wonderful pool. Our room was close to the pool, which we requested so that we didn't have to lug our luggage up any stairs. Here were our highlights:
- Delicious thai ice tea served when you check in
- Absolutely beautiful rooms with charming decorations and a wonderful bathroom
- Free wifi!
- Staff was so professional and kind
- Hotel tuk tuk that took guests to the night bazaar
- Close to city center, which is only a 10-15min walk
- Daily breakfast (not complimentary but very tasty)

The only criticism I have for the hotel is that it is a bit out of the way, and while it means a quiet ambiance for guests, it really was down an alleyway of residential homes. Thankfully the hotel provided flashlights for extra safety. And beyond that, my husband got eaten up by mosquitos, so I'd recommend you bring bug spray with you!

But seriously, one of my favorite accommodations on my honeymoon, and I'd recommend it to anyone going to Chiang Mai, who is fine with the location. It's just too charming to pass up.

Room Tip: Stay on the first floor so you don't have to lug up the stairs.

We stayed 5 mights here in March 2014. LOVED it! It's more like a wonderful home than a hotel.
Very strong WIFI! Plenty of bandwidth here. Never had a problem, and we were here 5 nights.
If not for the too-firm (for me) bed I would have given 5 Stars All Around.
The location is excellent, just a 20 minute walk to the Night Bazaar. To walk to the West Gate might take 30 minutes (or a $3 tuk-tuk). Because this hotel is located 2 minutes walk away from the busy road it is so peaceful and quiet. No noise of any kind! Certainly one of the quietest places we've ever stayed, and since we're on a worldwide excursion we've stayed in.....um.....quite a few!
The style, ambiance, and decor of the room is that of a beautiful home. Truly exceptional. Plenty big, with a desk, couch, padded sitting area in the bathroom, jet-tub, big shower...nice nice nice all around!
The courtyard of the hotel is landscaped and designed like a private tropical paradise.
A/C and ceiling fan keep the room plenty cool.
We never had any noise problems in the room.
We would gladly stay here again if we return to Chiang Mai.

We came home one night from the opposite side of town and it cost $3 in a tuk-tuk, so maybe that's a standard fare around town?

Room Tip: We had room 107. It's a Deluxe Room, upgraded from a Superior.

We recently spent 3 nights in Chang Mai at this lovely hotel! It was truly a little gem
to return to at the end of a busy day. One could choose to unwind at either the pool or sitting on the comfortable sofa on the outside veranda of each room. Birds were signing and flowers were
in full bloom every where. The place became magical at night when all the gardens were illuminated by small lights and floating lanterns.
This gem is tucked away in a residential area near the old city. The hotel provides free shuttle to
the old section of the city. Breakfast was lovely and served on the open air terrace in the gardens.
There was lots of variety and plenty to select from.
The staff at the hotel was very friendly and willing to assist us any way possible.
This is a place were you come to relax and reenergize yourself at the end of each day.

Room Tip: Choose a room on the second floor. Lovely to overlook the grounds.
