We recently stayed here for 10 days with two young kids and a friend while we are visiting Chiang Mai. The hotel is boutique so everything you need is close by and it has a real feeling of a family run hotel rather than a large chain hotel. Our rooms were fantastic and the hotel provided great cots free of charge for the babies. As we had interconnecting rooms with a friend we had two balconies overlooking the pool and Thai garden.
The hotel restaurant, Thai garden, gym and pool are off the central courtyard and make a great area to hang out as a couple or with the family.
The Hotel restaurant has a great buffer and a la carte breakfast menu with both western and thai favourites on it. Particular highlights were the great scrambled egg (so many hotels do this badly) and the boiled jasmine rice with chicken and egg, fantastic.
The hotel is located a few minutes from the river and they have a great tuk tuk that they will take you for free to anywhere in the old city. This really adds to the charm of the hotel as you are close enough to the city but are in a quiet old neighbourhood which allows you to enjoy the tranquility of the garden/ pool without feeling you are in a city.

The real star of the hotel are the staff. Thailand is famed for its hospitality and friendliness and we found nothing was too small for the them to do. While we ate breakfast or where at the pool the staff where always very friendly and more than happy to spend some time with the kids showing them the thai garden or the fish in the grounds.
Some of the things that the hotel did for us i don`t think you would get at most hotels eg after returning from a cooking school with all the food we made they reheated it and served it to us in our room for no charge. As our children are young we sometimes brought basic pastas from the international supermarket and they were more than happy to prepare these for us too.
A great little hotel and very friendly staff made this a trip to remember, will certainly be staying here the next time we visit Chiang Mai.More
