I stayed at this hotel as part of a tour group. At first we saw some reasonably nice and clean rooms, but alas, these were not for us - there had been a mistake with the distribution of the keys. It turned out our room had a very mouldy shower, linen with holes or patches, a constant puddle of water on the vanity due to a leaking tap and uneven surface, and the room was generally dull.

The laundry service was very cheap and I was generally happy with it (just a couple of items returned a bit damp). The breakfast is average - would probably eat elsewhere next time. The staff are friendly but do have trouble with English.

I would recommend checking the room they're selling you before staying here. We had no choice on a tour, unfortunately. I wouldn't stay again unless guaranteed of the quality of the room first.

This was a simple and clean hotel convenient located across from the Chiang Mai night bazaar. The hotel doesn't have lifts, so I had to carry my luggage up four floors. Apart from that, everything is quite good. Rooms are clean, toilets are average (the usual shower head hose close to the toilet dilemma) but all in all it was a fair hotel. No wi-fi.

It also does breakfast in the mornings.

The location of this hotel is it's main selling point, it is very central a couple minutes walk from the main restaurant square and the main street with the night market on it.

We only stayed here one night and it was fairly basic but comfortable and the shower was hot and powerful. there was also a fridge in our room and a wall fan and air conditioning unit so it was not too hot.

We stayed in this hotel as part of a tour group so can't really comment on value but I am guessing that it was very cheap

Right in the heart of the night bazaar, a bit noisy, but balconys looking out over the market, which is teeming with life! No lift, we stayed in the old hotel, which is very cheep ( 600thb night!) breakfast, well, please tell me of a hotel in thailand that has a nice one!!!! coffee hot and strong though! Very central for treking tours, every taxi knows where it is ( piece of advice for most of the hotels in thailand, the pick up from the hotel costs nearly twice if not more than a taxi from the airport) The hotel looked after our bags free of charge in a lock up when we went treking, but no safety deposit boxs. We were there for the full moon party, and the river is within 2 minutes walk from the hotel, clean, hot water ( when you find the on switch!) air con, clean towels everyday, and helpful smiling staff even though thier english is slightly limited! Hotel worth the money because of its location!

I stayed here with a tour group and wouldn't have chosen this hotel if travelling independently. This hotel is very very cheap - about 14 USD and it is clean. There is no lift so if you have heavy luggage and are on a high floor (as I was) you better be fit! The reception staff don't have good English and are not very friendly. There are so many hotels at really cheap prices in Chiang Mai, that I think staying here is probably false economy.

The beds had to be the hardest beds I ever spent a night in and I had lots of problems sleeping. There is no in room safe, and to use the one at reception you need to provide your own padlock which is a bit ridiculous.

Breakfast is nothing special - they have a continental buffet and then you can order eggs and other hot stuff. One good point is that they have a very fast and very cheap laundry service, which did a fine job.

We paid 1200 THB per room(all rooms are twin rooms), which was excellent value for money. The hotel is in a very convenient location, 2 minute walk from the Night Market. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Bathrooms are quite small , but sufficient. All the staff were very friendly & helpful. I have not got one negative thing to say about this hotel. Would stay there again any time!
