There is one of the interesting temple in Chiang Mai.
Beautiful pagoda and clean.
Location near the Suan dok restaurant.
Easy to reach and nice place to drop by.

Go early morning - sunrise and especially in cool season (Nov-Feb) there is often a little mist over Doi Pui which adds to the specticle.

This site contains not only temples which are used by the monks but also is a burial ground for the old Kings of Chiang Mai. In the front garden is a Bodi tree which is said to be the tree that Buddha sat under when gaining enlightenment. Here you can also make an appointment to speak with a monk.

lovely place and make sure you visit the small temple to the side - not just the main complex - it has one of the most beautiful Buddha's in North Thailand
