Bad things

- The mastresses was awful ! ( Be careful : old spring mastresses !!! )
- Even at the 11 flour it was noisy even with aircon because of single glazing very thin in the second town of Thailand, it is a nonsense !!!
- Rooms are not well soundproofed

Good things :

- breakfast is good
- nice view at the upper flours

We stayed 10 nights in this hotel and we really appreciated it. It is also the best value in Chiang Mai (in our opinion) and we visited most of the hotels in the same price range. The room was spacious and very clean (and cleaning ladies did excellent job every single day). There was a kettle, tea, coffee, air-conditioning was not noisy, nice view from the 10th floor where we stayed. Nice bathroom with a bathtub. The staff is pleasant and efficient and most of them speak English very well. The hotel is very calm, probably because of the thick carpet on the floor. Wifi is free of charge unlike most hotels in Chiang MaiThey have a swimming pool which is not very big but very nice. We had it to ourselves most of time. The only drawback is a limited number of deckchairs (there are actually only two of them). Though the terrace around the swimming pool is not big, I think at least 4 or 5 deckchairs can be put there.

Room tip: Superior room is better value than the standard one

I stayed here for a week in march with my sister. We were given a very big twin room with all the necessary hotel amenities - the safe was particularly useful and extremely easy to use. The room was beautiful, but as the hotel was situated along a main road, there was some noise from the outside traffic and the birds make so much noise also!

The location of the hotel is very good to visit the night market as it is only a 10 minute walk or a 2 minute tuk tuk ride away (usually 50 Baht for 2 people) but to get to the old city, its a good 20/25 minute walk or a 10 minute tuk tuk ride (about 100 baht). The hotel offers a free shuttle to the night market evry day at 7pm and 8pm but you must make sure you let them know beforehand or when you get to reception the shuttle may not be there!

Overall, the hotel was very nice - the shower and bath could use some refurbishment (room 806) but all in all, a very enjoyable stay - the food for breakfast was lovely.

Front desk were helpful. Room power key not working right had to
Move to another room. Make sure u specify double bed I got two singles, was told all booked for first night but could move into double the next day. Basic but adequate rooms for budget travellers. Walking distance to night bazaar, 10 mins. no
Wi fi in room on level 5
But quite good in hotel lobby. I would rate this as 2 to 3 star hotel which would suit budget traveller.

We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel looks nice from the photos (which i believe taken before the grand opening!). Actually it's quite big but we didn't see any guests checked in/out but us!! So quiet that left an uncomfortable feeling. The staff are fine, but again... not many staff they have. We checked the swimming pool at night, to my surprise it was pitch black and empty. No signs of life! The room is spacious and looks just being re-painted. I like the big windows that help enlighten the room. Cleanliness is fine but our closet didn't seem to work well. We needed to flush several times. The shower is too low. I picked this hotel due to the promotion and location just 10minutes walk to the night bazaar. If return to chiang mai, better stay around the old city where has more comfortable ambience.
